i didnt expect Poe to be the album you were gonna be talking about. Haunted is an amazing album. Always wanted to pick it up on vinyl. Shame what happened to her career. I’ve heard a lotta people have had problems with that vinyl release where they got two copies of sides 1 & 2. That’s also put me off picking it up aside from the crazy prices hike that you talk about. But yes you are spot on about the vinyl prices. it’s nuts. Most I spent on vinyl was $50 last summer for Replacements/Inconcerated. But at least that was a 3 LP set.

Haunted truly is amazing - I'm glad to hear that you like it! I completely forgot to mention it in the video but in the past couple of months they have re-released Haunted on vinyl. It's there for $40! I wish they would've done it sooner or I may still be collecting! They released Hello on vinyl at record store day maybe a couple years ago but as you would expect it's expensive on ebay and discogs. Thanks for watching!

Can’t believe you sold your collection of vinyl. I totally understand why you had to stop, sometimes we get obsessed with “we gotta have it” that it messes w our judgement. I have learned to wait for the price of the album I want to go down.. or be ok w never owning it. I really just get what I can afford . Great life lesson you learned too.

I got obsessed with those dollar signs when it came to selling, sadly! 😂 But I did obsess way too much on that POE album too. LITERAL sweating when my finger was hovering over that “buy” button.

I've recently started to avoid buying new albums on vinyl. There may be a few here an there, if its a favorite artist maybe, I like finding used vinyl when its affordable, I do like the chase haha. But I'm back to cd's when possible. I had hundreds from when I was growing up, and I finally reorganized them into a new binder. I bought a 5 disc Sony CD changer two years ago on Facebook marketplace, so I'm ready to go. CD's are still the best in my opinion, and its a real bummer they put them in new cars anymore!
