Okay so believe it or not I am a member of the Carl Albert High School Band (From MWC) and we played "Festive Overture" by Shostakovich as well it was our 1st out of three movements for our band show this year "The Crown".

is it just me or Broken arrow doesn't march piccolo it would be nice to have that piccolo sound especially if its Shostakovich! But with or without piccolos The Pride of Broken Arrow still sound amazing!

They used to march piccolo from 2004-2009. Since 2010, they dropped piccolos and tenor saxophones. Yes, I’m aware I’m answering your question five years late.

+awesomerikd168 I think the name of the ballad is Piano Concerto No 2 by Demetri Shostakovich. I think all the music from this show is by Shostakovich. I think some of the the other pieces are Festive Overture, Jazz Suite No 2 and excerpts from Symphonys No 5 & 10.
