In order to make money, the boys decide to throw a music concert starring all of David’s biggest artists. But after selling 100’s of tickets they discover they can’t get a single celebrity artist to agree to appear. The boys trick David into appearing, but David only bails them out after he forces them to give all the money they earned to charity.

Surely you don't actually think any of the story line was true? He was booked months in advance for the episode and reviewed the script beforehand. His kids produced the show. That's why the show didn't succeed. It wasn't believable. Nobody who was Dave's kids for 20 years would leave the lights on in his house unless they lack basic respect, and if that's the case Dave would have had them out to boarding school and then out permanently at age 18. Dave is a business man who gets respect from everyone he deals with, or he quits them. You can 't be a superstar without being that way.

Because Linda caught david cheating, she tried to put on a brave face for the show but in the end she called the studio and the studio pulled the plug on filming more episodes/seasons because the wholesome family vibe was gone little did they know that kinda drama is standard for reality shows these days.

They cancelled the show because it sucked and no one watched it. After two episodes Fox cancelled the series and didn't air the remaining episodes until years later on some reality sub brand channel.

What Brandon said to David was straight from the heart. Money isn't what makes him happy. Seeing Dave smile when he walked into a room and saying or doing anything other then bitching would make him feel the love and not the urgency that if he doesnt make money he's no good through Davids eyes. Does that mean David is greedy....? No! He just sees ALL the outlets these boys have to make money to start becoming their own man and growing into what they wanta be. He would help them in everyway he could while they began that journey. This is all in the past but since then they all have grown into fine young men.
