Thank you Pastor Jesse! Praying for everyone who is trying to lead and/or encourage anyone around them to believe and trust Jesus Christ ❤ 1 John 5:13 KJV These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. ❤

I have a unique situation where my spouse leans more to the charismatic teachings. When we met she was in church and had been all her life. I stopped going for my teenage years and when we met I just adopted her view as well as the mainstream charismatic movement. Once I started taking my faith seriously, it took me a few years to come to the truth. In short faith alone for salvation. OSAS has become a sore subject in our house as well. Because I do not have the long track record of church, my view is generally discounted by her and her family. "I'm not an expert" and have not "Spent enough time under a spiritual leader" or "just haven't had a Holy Spirit encounter" yet. I have resigned myself to not speaking about it at all, because it seems to just get worse. This is why I have such anger for these hyper charismatic "demon hunter" wolves. They've created an ocean between me and my family members. In the end it's my fault for not taking it more seriously earlier on and establishing a foundation. It's hard to come in after the fact and try to put the foundation on the second floor of a house.

I appreciate you sharing that. Not that it’s very similar but I married a Greek man and was young ( now married 33 years but was saved at age 9 having grown up in both church and Christians schools.... Baptist ) but I thought Eastern ( Greek ) Orthodoxy was biblical from what I knew then .. but over the years and doing research……. Nope Long story short , we are still married but I had to leave that “ religion “ and return to sound doctrine. While we “ agree to disagree “ and I do my best to explain what the scripture teaches about certain things, it sometimes can get contentious and I too will avoid conversations sometimes but other times I sense the Holy Spirit prompting me to take certain opportunities to broach a subject of the Lord provides one … but even when choosing my words wisely ( as best I can ) it doesn’t always go well. You’re not alone so I hope this helps to know that with your situation 😊 I tend to think God placed me in this marriage for a purpose or at least turned my decisions into something for his purpose and you’re more than likely where He wants you to be as well regardless of your past decisions ❤

That sounds like the same talk that Costi Hinn got from his family when he married a girl that hadn't "experienced the Holy Spirit." Needless to say, he isn't affiliated with the Benny Hinn organization any more because he woke up to the falsehoods being practiced by his uncle.

@@SmermVery wise words! My son who's now 40 was raised ifb but after marriage to his first wife he began to lean evangelical then mega church, (insert name of choice here), then divorce and remarried to his second wife whose church is,(Presbyterian), which is strong calvinist. Now he's headed towards divorce again and is looking at hardcore roman catholic. He's not, for lack of a better term, "gone over" yet to that false doctrine but has dived in enough to cause problems with his marriage and his family. It gives me hope to hear your story. Thank you sister! 🙏🏻

@@williamjarvis3473 you’re welcome and thank you for sharing also ! Btw, I left 2 churches recently … they were not aligned with Calvinism but the doctrine started leaning that way . It’s getting hard to find a church that just teaches the Word and the simple gospel as I’m seeing much Calvinistic influence in a lot of them Blessings to you and prayers for your son. It must be hard as a father ❤️There’s always hope as long as we’re still here 🙏✝️

@@Smerm yes it seems it the natural progression from ifb to calvinist, then more liberal or heretical teaching. We're definitely seeing a mass movement from historical Baptist doctrine. I've never considered Baptist to be a denomination ; however, it has progressed to that in many circles. To me it's just the known gospel of the Bible, ie , death, burial and resurrection of Christ. The Baptist faith has been drug through the mire but they're those of us who strive to "stand fast" for the faith. I'm currently a member of a solid KJV traditional Baptist Church and am happy. God bless you 🙏🏻

Thank you, Pastor Jesse! I have a friend who is a Believer, but carnal. I've had to make the decision not to be around her a lot. She has even said, "I'll do what I want and ask forgiveness later"...and laughed. At that point, I had to take a step back from the friendship. And, not long after she made that comment, she suffered some "problems" due to living a carnal lifestyle. However, that didn’t seem to get her attention.😔 I pray the Lord gets her attention!

It's not uncommon for today's "Christians " to pervert his mercies but JESUS stays faithful to himself either way. Don't give up on her and talk about JESUS to her. GOD BLESS YOU

What happens to a believer as soon as they die? Do we sleep or are with with Jesus immediately

If two of my friends are believers but they believe that they can potentially lose their salvation if they decided to turn their backs on God? Then are they actually saved? Are they equally yoked with a osas person?

Anyone got an answer or?

@@Victoriahamell143I think yes they’re saved still if they believe upon Jesus Christ for salvation. Some issues are secondary and not dependent on salvation

Can food be an idol?

Sure can, and I have been there. Prayers for you....

Yes, for anyone. If it takes first place in any way (especially toward gluttony), then it has become an idol. Dieting and Asceticism lifestyles can also become an idol. - Trent
@newbeginning35712 ай бұрын
If you mean overeating you have to ask yourself did GOD create you to be a glutton no he didn't, anytime we put our will before his ourselves become the idol because we chose our will not his so no food is not an idol ourselves are the idol. GOD BLESS YOU
