YOU ROCK.....seriously, thank you! I called Canon support and they told me they could not help me since my printer was "retired". I needed to connect it to my new laptop. What you showed during this video solved my problems! I actually did not have to uninstall the USB printer support, I went through the software channel to update the driver and within 5 seconds, my PC read my printer.....thank you!

OMG! That works!. I actually found that stupid Printing Support, and tried to "Upgrade" driver directly from there, it's not working. I didn't try unload-refresh process. Now it's working perfectly! Much appreciaed.

This video was extremely helpful,thank you sir! In my case even after uninstalling the "USB printing support",it would still come back. So what i did is turn off the printer,ran through the process and only turned on the printer when required(on step 3) and it worked well
