I stopped playing this game at around 2017. I think. But you made me jump back in. Cayo is a bit broken admittedly. I looked up a guide and I can do the entire heist in under 15 minutes without shooting a single time. It's crazy. But I think GTAO actually has improved now. Crazy.

On Prison Break - Wet Work with the stealth team there is a house on the road below where you can snipe the head off of the target without having to stealth around the building, or you can just make a noise have one person south and one person north of the mansion and kill the guy when he runs

The prison break is the worst to do with ransoms, like it took me days to get it started but after I joined someone on the last heist(of the original heists) he helped me and then it took 2days to Finnish, mainly because the finale was done on day two, and the humaine lab took a few hours(lucky as fuuuck)

Playing with randoms is just laughable at times. Earlier I was bored so I was doing random jobs, ended up on the bus setup for the prison heist and these low levels literally failed 10 times. One of them kept getting on his bike even though I was honking at him with my armored kuruma. Can't help stupid lmao

I think the prison break heist is bugged, i completed it another day with some friends and the two friends playin the prisioner and guard role were having the same issue you had , the guard was detecting them right away

It's not so much a "bug" as it is Rockstar not being able to program a dynamic mission. A guard has to get spooked so that the target is pinned down by the gunfire. They didn't program a scenario in which the players actually make it through without getting spotted, so you get spotted no matter what you do. This heist is the worst of all of them. They don't even tell you to have the pilot simply WAIT to go to the rendezvous point until AFTER you're out of the prison. Then you don't even need to deal with attack planes at the airfield.
