My mom and I watched this when it was originally broadcast. For the first two episodes we thought that there might actually be a fraction of a chance that it could possibly develop into something interesting... but then it turned into puke in later episodes. The only good thing about this series was the soundtrack by Rupert Gregson-Williams... particularly "I Am Not a Number", "The Ruins" and "The Ocean".

👍, Even WHY they decided to use the same TITLE is beyond me! If, and it’s a Big IF , THIS series was titled or directed towards something else- it isn’t really that bad a Casting/ Cinematography Filmed Or even ( some ) Acting Script Scenes. Should have been presented as a separate- SciFi- Metaphysical type story. Plus- the “ Pills/ Medication “ M’s Wife Must take to Support the Village is never explained & ludicrous a premise. Plus- the “ Wraps “, “ Sop Operas “ And WHERE EXACTLY is the Gasoline for buses coming from! Could have been A Lot better! Waste of Great Actors!

Agree. This attempted re-imagining of "The Prisoner" is an uninspired, pointless piece of work which has none of the wit or charm or humor or vision of the original series. This new series deserved to be quickly forgotten and it was. As I write this in the year 2022, no one remembers this flop of a series made in 2009. However, the original "The Prisoner" series from the 1960's will be remembered forever.
