Ethnicity and religion shouldn’t matter when it comes to sports or representing your country. Pakistanis attacked Arshad online because he’s a Shia, not Sunni, imagine how Arshad would feel seeing those comments, he didn’t have to represent our country, but he chose to, as a Pakistani Shia, without any government support, and for that we should give credit when credit is due.

Please fact check your research: Arshad himself denied the news of asking for funding for a new Javelin. Even Neeraj was surprised when asked about this, an athlete of his level even if lacking facilities from the state are easily sponsored by international brands and allowing equipment to be afforded atleast. Even his manager confirmed that they had atleast 4-5 international standard javelins for Arshad. Unfortunately someone faking his identity counted upon the opportunity to fraudly open an online fundraising.
