Thanks, Yes me too. I hope I get some time soon.

Awesome. Have you thought of a project where you optimize Airflow with Galapagos? ie combining Eddy and Galapagos to optimize Airflow?
@PhilippGalvanDesign9 ай бұрын
Yes I have but it's a bit extreme in terms of required computational power also it might be tricky to define the goal... I might think about it again.

If for instance, i wanted to analyze the carbon capture capabilities of a filter, like concentration or of CO2 from an outlet, do you think Eddy would do the job or Butterfly? what do you advice I use? A simple wind analysis, indoor analysis or outdoor comfort?

Eddy is definitely geared towards urban planning applications. Butterfly is Since 2018 not further development. Although it's great for simple heat transfer, air circulation or wind analysis I don't think it will be suitable for this particular problem. You might need to search for different software. Or my look directly into BlueCFD and see if this might be able to accomplish what you are looking for.

Hi! Thank you so much for the video, it is very clear the way you explain the potential of galapagos for that case. I have a question about the shadow appearing after the Custom Preview component? Is that related to the rendered mode in rhino? Or how did you do that?
@PhilippGalvanDesign Жыл бұрын
The shadow is just in rendered mode. Which can have different light sources.

You can use scene lightning. And you need to turn on the sun. I also sometimes play/add with the environment settings for a better effect.

I think I did a video in viewport modes...

I don't understand what Galapagos is doing here. It will be better if you make the three spaces in fast forward manner briefly explain their concept and give more time for Galapagos.

Good point. Honest feedback is the best. I will keep this in mind. Thanks

I don't think Galapagos was needed for that. You could just use sliders or arrive at a solution by writing a simple algebraic equation. Why you used Galapagos here? Any particular reason?
@PhilippGalvanDesign Жыл бұрын
I used it to show the tool with a very simple script just explain the what it does. It's not needed in this example I agree but there are no tutorials on Galapagos which explain it in super simple terms. Beginners might have better understanding now and can use it in a more complex environment. That's all.
