I'm kinda annoyed too. I mean hell, the title card of this update shows a player wearing just a neck gaiter mask, so I was hoping we'd be able to get that without the need of wearing a hat with it. Speaking of masks, some styles of masks I have on my wishlist include: - The two-hole ski mask that gets used as a base for other masks like the Night Vision Goggles from Classic Heists, Tactical Ski masks from Gunrunning, etc. - New "breathable" ski masks that resemble the ones worn by Michael, Franklin, and Trevor during the Big Score. - More styles of the "Half Face" masks added in Import/Export that are just flat colors and camo variations without any branding (which might I add, can be worn in combination with hats and glasses) - Bandanas that can be worn in combination with hats and/or glasses of the player's choice

Honestly if I were designing this DLC I'd basically made it pay more and also very hard, and also built it around players using all of their vehicles and toys. Made it different without resources - if you're tasked with going after targets that have tanks, RPGs, jet fighters, etc. it'd been a very different experience from ANYTHING else in the game. Keep in mind the AI can use all this stuff 100% fine and you can give them these things in survival.

It's been 10 years, and 'GTA Online' is just WASTED POTENTIAL. There were countless updates throughout the years, and yet the game hasn't evolved almost at all. Instead of expanding the game by adding meaningful new mechanics, Rockstar chose the easy way of just copy-pasting the same boring mission design where you're either a delivery boy who hauls cargo from point A to point B with ZERO engaging gameplay, or you do a mediocre heist that requires a few pointless and boring setup missions. Every new major update adds some pointless new business that works similar to the earlier ones and gives us a bunch of new vehicles, most of which are useless anyway. I find it INSANE how little GTA Online evolved in 10 years. The wanted system is still terrible and police chases are insufferable. The AI remains brain dead and not fun to fight or escape from. You can't crouch or go prone. The city never evolves. NPCs still drive the same cars as in 2013, despite hundreds of DLC vehicles having been added. There are barely any dynamic events in the open world. There are no cool activities that would incentivise players to team up or fight each other. The CEO/MC system is designed in a way that everyone wants to be the boss, and there is no point in being the associate, so the entire purpose of "organizations" is wasted. You still can't interact with pedestrians, and most places on the map don't even have them. The city doesn't feel alive at all. There are hundreds of various jobs like races, co-op missions, heists, deathmatches etc., but they all pay like sh1t, and the matchmaking is too inconvenient, so basically no one plays them. The game is also hellbent on restricting player creativity. Almost every mission in this game needs to be completed in a very specific way that gives you no room to think creatively, think of a clever solution or even use the vehicles and gear you already own. One of the new missions requires you to steal ballistic equipment for a job. Why? I already own one! I bought it YEARS AGO! I also own a cool mini-drone that can tase people and blow up, but it's DISABLED whenever I start any job or mission! God forbid I actually use a fun tool I paid for in a job! There are countless missions where some slow ahh vehicle needs to be delivered across the map. Good thing I bought a huge helicopter that can lift vehicles! It's exactly the right tool for a job like that! Sike! You can't lift this specific vehicle for no reason at all. Rockstar needs to finally learn how to create fun missions and let the players complete them however they want. They should take some inspiration from Hitman. Just create a big sanbox world with a lot of interactive objects, tools and things to do, give me a very general objective (kill someone, steal something, break into some place, jack a car, rob a place etc.) and let me decide HOW I want to proceed. This game would have been 100x more fun to play with if Rockstar wasn't acting like insufferable fun police all the time. I should be able to use every vehicle, tool and piece of equipment I own to complete the job. There is no need for 15 useless businesses that offer the same cookie-cutter mission design. It would be fine if we only had 5, but all of them were interesting, offered a good variety of different missions, and let the players be creative.

Dude, you took all of the words out of my fucking mouth. I just crashed out after playing an acid lab resupply mission. Fucking Lost MC shooting at my delivery truck caused my character to get high off the fumes. Now imagine my frustration when I have to drive from the fucking desert all the way to Los Santos (because driving straight to your Acid Lab would be, you know, too easy, and you can't have fun because R* doesn't allow so), while high, and in a snowy blizzard. The sandy and rocky desert became pretty much invisible in the blizzard, and the fumes effect made my screen so white, I legit thought someone threw a flashbang in my room and I was blind from the explosion. The bikers also became invisible, because they're such small targets, and the blizzard combined with the fumes effect made it even harder to see. Then I die, respawn, and next thing I see is a traffic jam caused by the horrified drivers piling up against my truck. Bottom of the story, the truck exploded. Drug Wars is only one example of the worst shit that R* has ever cooked up. Sure, it appeals to the Breaking Bad fans, but it doesn't add anything interesting lore-wise. I'm out here driving this fat bum around while he and his idiotic friends scream "Badonkadonk" all the fucking time. And all for fucking what? So he and his friends can get high. Drug Wars legit made me feel like my character went from being an AI-defeating criminal mastermind, who could pretty much singlehandedly cause WW3 and still survive the nuclear annihilation of planet Earth, all the way to being a bitch stuck in 2014, whoring himself out for lowsome payments and sticking with idiots of the likes of Simeon and Gerald. I know this video talks about Agents of Sabotage mainly, but it feels like R* is already past rock bottom. The only things I get excited for are the vehicles. And even in the case of vehicles, they managed to fuck shit up. We never got a Rhino MK2 (forget about that futuristic Khanjali), a Hydra Classic that resembles the one from San Andreas, tons of 1970s/1980s/1990s cars that the car community loves, a FUCKING HOVERCRAFT FOR CHRIST'S SAKE, WE HAD THAT IN GTA SA AND VCS... Also, the in-game economy is so bad, it feels like past content never got properly updated to modern GTA economy standards, so it's left behind to rot. I forgot the last time I visited my stolen car garage, you know, the one from Import/Export. That thing used to be considered the best business in the game until the After Hours rolled out. And then Cayo Perico rolled out and made every business in the game obsolete. And I still kept grinding that thing pretty much daily, until the day that Cayo Perico dropped. There was a day that I even remembered that the import/export garage existed, and entering it made me remember the "fun" times I had selling in empty lobbies while AI cars shot up my delivery vehicle. I could almost smell the dust coming off the screen. All the cars still retained their exact shitty value, so I went out the door and never returned. I wonder what happened to the mechanic? Is he alive? He was the only guy in that huge warehouse... maybe he's only bones now. Oh and BTW, the Ruiner 2000 is completely outdated as well. Yep. Because R* forgets that power creep is a thing. TL;DR: R* peaked during 2016-2019. The Cayo Perico Heist was a very welcome addition, but after that everything went downhill. It was already going downhill since the Oppressor Mk2 became a thing, but now, they've officially hit the bedrock.

There's nothing awful about the DLC, but the missions are so generic and forgettable that I have no desire to replay them. The only "new" game-play that wasn't recycled from previous heists was two of the hacking mini-games. Also, the quality of life improvements are bittersweet because many of them are so simple and obvious that it's annoying that Rockstar waited 11 years to implement them when the game itself is well past its expiration date.

The missions are fun, and each time they do an update, the game just keeps looking nicer. i love that they are putting gta 6 content in their plus i think by the time gta 6 comes out, gta 5 will still be a good alternative or until they iron out the game a bit.

personally i liked this dlc bc of all the little details jodi has on our characters. always love it when we get to hear how the world is doing because of us. like in the franklin dlc where they comment on the fact that you own a yacht and a penthouse, and that you "robbed everyone", in the chop shop dlc where yusuf says we have LS in the palm of our hands, and in this update, with lester telling us he's actually retired now, and commenting on how "everything in los santos ents up owned by us", and like i said before, all the little things jodi mention

My expectations from this DLC were clear-cut. I knew Lester or Pavel or whoever would be sidelined for a character we hadn't met before. I figured they wouldn't give us trade prices on the police vehicles automatically from the last update. Most importantly, I figured they'd be reusing assets heavily. If you expected a 6 to 15 gigabyte update to be the next Casino Heist or Cayo Perico replacement, you're going to be let down every time.

Personally, the main takeaway for Agents of Sabotage for me is that Rockstar is once again leaning toward the quasi-freeroam style of mission design that bypasses the need to set up a lobby and invite players for, similar to how the Chop Shop robberies play out when doing the Finales of said jobs. And honestly, I think I prefer this way of being able to execute missions in a controlled environment that doesn't run as high of a chance of separating you from those who helped you like the Contact Mission style jobs do.

To everyone who plays Cayo Perico a lot do be aware that there’s a bug that’s now happening where once your like 80% of the way to the signal tower then your game will freeze for like 7 seconds and then you will be booted out of the game back to the Home Screen, I advise you guys to not play Cayo until this issue is resolved its definitely from the DLC itself

This DLC was perfectly fine, don't know why people are still expecting Cayo type updates at this point in the game's life. The missions were enjoyable, though two of them are clearly easier than the others. The payouts are decent and the upgrades to the Terrorbyte are welcome additions.

I think this DLC is fine for where the game is right now. A small update that gives some interesting missions is fine for an old game where the next one is on the horizon. That said, it is frustrating that it's small because I want a lot more fun new content.

We've done basically everything there is to do and GTA 6 is probably releasing next year. Nobody should he shocked these last few updates won't be huge like ones when the game still had years left. There would be more to do if Rockstar didn't mess up the economy and players actually took advantage of the creator tools to create interesting and different activities instead of the same jenga deathmatches and discount hot wheels races.

I agree with the mixed feelings, but in this dlc I feel like they tried to implement some stuff the community asked for: Weather in stunt races, more hangar space, police cars and outfits, more creator props, random all race creator, removing paywalls (Terrorbyte). They are trying to please everyone by adding back characters we love, and also to maybe feed our nostalgia. Sure, they are doing it in a way that causes them the smallest amount of work possible. You can really feel that in the missions, they are the same stuff over and over again. But at least they didnt break anything, the general quality seems to be on a good level now again compared to 1-2 years ago. But yeah, the general amount and relevance of the "new" businesses and mission-contenet isn't there anymore.

The main reason why GTA Online has been updated into becoming more “Consumer Friendly” is the exact same reason why T2/R* has been not having to worry about taking any security measures to actually protect the players from malicious cheating & hackers. That is the fact that T2/R* have nearly finished working on GTA6 & are now officially done with “maximising revenue” on GTA5 online. All these GTR online time limits and guard rails to certain big money making missions were just so they can maximise card revenue since you can’t milk your audience if they have a genuine free fair alternative to make said in-game money through actual gameplay, so they’ve just turned off all of the unfair filters & properly rebalanced game to properly work as it intended. The cyber security side is probably just so they don’t get sued with multiple consumer protection violation class action lawsuits when they eventually abandon the Old GTA Online game by leaving the product in a completely unplayble state. Since T2/R* have been complicit in letting these hackers and cheaters absolutely roam wild in GTA online under the one condition they don’t go after the T2/R* “monetary bottom line” quarterly revenue which is technically an illegal agreement that could get T2/R* into Very Legal Trouble..

I finally give up GTA Online. I am on PC, and we don't get the Console features. When will that come to pc? When 6 is released or what? The only good thing with this DLC is, it's solo friendly. Solo is the best way to play GTA Online.

IMO what they should have done for this is make missions that are completely centered around your fleet of OP armored vehicles. Like, made the missions basically require you to break out your tanks and jets and other things, and upped the enemies so that they are equipped with RPGs and their own vehicles and planes. Survival mode shows there's no issue with the AI doing this stuff, and it'd really felt like it took things up a notch in terms of difficulty.

I think this update is not mid, it is actually above average, 7.5/10. Nothing beats the Cayo-Tuners-Contract trio yet tho. And I hope that Rockstar add more Dispatch mission so players can roleplay as cops for longer instead of resulting to self-roleplay. And tbh probably nothing can dethrone Cayo, GTA V map is out of space. It is DEJA VU. Also Rockstar dont want to or is incapable of making indepth contents. GTA V and Online is as wide as the ocean, but as shallow as a pond.

I enjoyed it very much. New fun missions, an unique garage, a great selection of cars, QOL has just been fenomenal in the 2020s. The game is winding down, and I feel the DLCs more improves on earlier content, rather than do new. Also I love arena war, but some of the game modes are pain, the loading screen bug sucks and it is stlly we have little variation and is stuck inside a small arena. I think the test of "fun" in the game is replayability. How many of us keep going back to Perico, Casino heists and Doomsday? Then how many do Salvage Yard again? Import Export? Bail Office? And don't get me started on the Arena Wars graveyard of gameplay.

rockstar should have had the enemies use the maverick helicopter as their vehicle. it makes no sense they have a buzzard with rockets and sometimes they either use the minigun in burst or have guys with combat MGs on the side, no missiles besides on some missions and the shootout mission in gta v.

I mean what more can they do with GTAO at this point? hopefully the Garment Factory is how they'll do businesses in GTA 6 Online because it comes with everything we had to buy for the other businesses. it doesn't pay that well but there isn't a lot to buy for me at this point and I've been playing for 3 years. I think the Banshee is a nice car and I think we will get a few more out of this dlc. Making money is easy once you get your first Business. getting started is actually the hard part.

IMO its the lack of depth in the DLCs nowadays. Old character introduces new character -> Buy Property -> Complete some missions. Thats all. Theres no like character building for the introduced characters just another random person somewhat related to the old character. Then they don't build on characters after DLC's story ends. Like the Contract followed a similar formula to the recent ones but the difference is that Franklin was already built as a character and the DLC was centered around him, its not like Pavel or Maude or Yusef even appear past their entrance cutscene and some mission dialogue.

I've stopped playing gta online consistently at the beginning of 2024. I've only played maybe for a week or two after every new DLC came out. I'm simply done with it, I've grinded far too much, millions in the bank that will never be spent. I just want gta6 after 10 plus years on gta 5 online.

Yeh i gotta disagree, the file missions are some of the best, the quality of life is amazing with the 50 new lock on jammer cars, the Factory with 1 price includes 10 car garage, bed, weapon workshop, fast travel, and best missions tht pay well.. Its like i told my bro in law, these "File Missions" are peak/best versions of these missions, u can use personal vehicle for all missions, the missions dont have u going to PALETO at ALL!! they mostly stay in the city, they're action packed, and best of all they dont make u leave ypur private lobby, Even the finales bro... u need to recheck ur game priorities

I too have played GTA 5 for 11 years since the very first week on Playstation. (Xbox was months behind Playstation). I've also agree as in my review of GTA 5 that is leaves you with an 'empty feeling'. Rockstar needs to just tweak their programs. Approaching it with the intentions of making the least amount in changes that yield the best results. That is; make the DLC's with ever changing variables in the mission every time you play it. Example, the Survival called Ambush. There is a variable in it caused by the trucks entering the shootout. The trucks come from different points of the area that constantly changes, perhaps due to the trucks being released on a fairly large hill that changes the directions of the trucks as they enter the game on various levels.... Every time you play Ambush, it constantly changes. I invite you all reading this to try playing the Survival called Ambush. For me, that would be my approach to tweaking the games so they do not become mundane.

I actually liked this update , mainly because of all the small fixes and life quality changes they input, plus they gave new life to many vehicles with jammers and a new life also to the Terrobyte. I honestly think R* it's putting their efforts on GTA6 , hence why this latest few updates are getting smaller , but improving the game in some areas as well.

I have the same exact feeling with this DLC, it's ok, the missions aren't annoying, but like there is nothing really, it's like theres no DLC, you play the 4 missions once which won't take you longer than 2 hours and that's it, there's nothing else. All that's left is to grind for the achievements, but like what's the point.

Arena War vehicles are by far my favorite ones in the game, so i have to politely disagree with you on Arena Wars being the worse DLC. All they need now, is a missle lock on jammer so they can be safely enjoyed in freemode. The Bail Office is my least favorite one.

alot of people expected a new big heist, since the last one we had was cayo that has been nerfed like 100 times already these miniheists are fine for now, people will get the second gta 6 video in a couple months and in like october console players will forget about this island i wanted new bikes and cars, only a couple worth to buy cars came but if gta 6 online copies ideas from here, this dlc looks promising tbh, small but fun well paid miniheists are good, a big heost each year should happen

Bomb Ball was the dumbest thing with Arna war DLC but I couldn't hate the whole DLC as a whole cause i enjoyed it and miss the chaos with randoms now it's pretty forgotten about. I love here come the monsters.
