i don't get how people don't understand that there are billions of people in the world that may want to be themselves and not "copying" more popular people

Honestly it's not that big of a deal- but claiming you created a style that's been around since the 2000's and harajuku inspired is wild 😭

She never said she 8nvented it shes said before she just combines differnt style ie scene, y2k , Harajuku, gyaru, cyber goth , etc its alot of differnt styles its no differnt that someone claiming they have their own style when being asked what style they dress in ,its just she put a name to it. 😺

@@yassine8935 her giving it a name isnt a problem, but her annoying stans calling anything even tangentially similar to her style "aliyahcore" is rly not it. gives her a bad name

I kinda don't like that she named her "movement" Alliyahcore... It's basically Y2K meets Monster High and Harajuku... I get why anyone would be annoyed, it's like SHE owns that whole style and no one can do something even similar without seeming like a copy

She explained this before i forgot were but shes already knows thisshe calls her aesthetic the name bc she combines alot of different styles more than 3 and makes ither ownand tbh its doesnt matter in the grandscheme of things .

@@yassine8935 Yeah true, doesn't really matter tbh, but again alot of other girls already were doing the Monster High/Harajuku/Y2K thing it's been a staple for a while then she blew up and named it after herself. It's been great self promotion for her though, can't fault her on the business moves!

Look...Nicki Minaj joined the Rap game, used the color pink and now its her color; but I know Nicki doesnt own the color pink. I think people are within their right to be peeved but the people who are stressed over the issue without being directly affected are a breed that need to go. Its aliyahcore because its fashion by Aliyah. If Aliyah is someone first introduction to the kind of style it may be confusing seeing similar stuff but these persons will be educated, and the Earth will spin.

I mean, Nicki didn't put her name on the color pink. Using it is one thing, claiming it is another.

@@DutDutGooseimagine a female rapper uses the word pink in their album. You know good and well they’ll say she’s copying her😂😂

@@DutDutGoose Yep It's not like Nicki renamed the color pink to Nicki so everyone uses Nicki when referreing to pink... It's like saying I'm going to Google something instead of search. I guess this historically always happens so whatever, there'll be other styles

I first saw this kind of style all over Pinterest years ago so it just rubs me the wrong way how she named already existing style after herself as if she came up with the style and if anyone dresses likes that then they're trying to be her So then some people might end up hate dressing like that and cause more damage than good

She literally made a video saying that her style takes inspiration from the harajuku style, alternative style and y2k and she does not own the style and she said that people wearing something similar to her style should not be labelled as "aliyahcore" if they dont say theyre trying to achieve the "aliyahcore" look themselves and she said aliyahcore is not just a specific style its an aesthetic for all ppl to feel like bad bitches no matter what they wear

@@berriexcream In interviews and articles it say she name it aaliyahcore: "After seeing that other users on her app gravitated toward her style, she decided to categorize it. Thus inventing the term, Aliyahcore... Most people may think naming a style after yourself can be a little vain. Aliyah doesn’t see it that way. She believes that Aliyahcore is a way to express yourself unapologetically. She is dedicated to the style as well"

Ah I just said something similar it's harajuku, Y2K, Monster High etc... She's successfully rebranded something that already exists. The problem isn't even her it's people just being too lazy and saying every alt black person is doing aaliyahcore
