From Perth and we have been to Bali so many times i have lost count. Been all over Bali & the heavy traffic is everywhere but much worse in the past 10yrs. Sadly since the boom of Social media & cheap flights it means tourist from around the globe swamp the place & any attractions you will be in a very long line. Even restaurants you need to book which was unheard of in the past. We were there in July for 2 weeks staying in Kuta area and just chilled at the resort, lots of massages, walked everywhere, window shop, beach on dusk, ate out every night, slept in every morning & that is how we holiday in Bali now as our winter escape. Makes us appreciate how good our lifestyle in WA is & how clean we live, how nice our beaches are is & how good our roads are I have gone back and watched all your old vids & they are awesome!!

Thank you for going back and watching our old video! We really appreciate your comments :) sorry it took so long to respond to them 🩵. You could pick a different resort every time and a have a different experience. Still the same vibe but is a great way to escape. I think going multiple times anywhere really frees you up from having to do a lot of things. Like if you go to Rome you have to see the colosseum but if you go a second time you can skip it 😅 and not feel like you are missing out

I hope you guys don't stop your channel, I love your videos especially the commentary. The tourist trap has always been it just has transformed over the years. I remember being in Thailand and Penang in the late 80's, early 90's & the trick was to have the photographer take a photo then you would have to wait around for half the day for the photo to be printed. Either way there is a lot of money being made and a lot of wasted time.

I was an early adopter of ranting about people recording something for later rather than actually living the moment. Kangaroo Valley circa pre-phonecam 2005 or so when hand-held video cameras were all the rage. A couple of little kids splashing around in the hire canoes having a top time. Dad (who is filming them with a handi-cam) tells them its time to leave. Kids beg for more time. Dad says "Wouldnt yous rather get home so yous can watch yourselves on the film?"

not to get to philosophical but we cling so close to time passed that when we found a way to replay memories all we want to do is save them. To maybe keep a map of experiences that represents our lives. fleeting are the thoughts but technology is always a step a head.
