i really don't know why people and influencers love bali that much. i am here since 6 weeks. it is okay here yes. but...first of all it is dirty AF, everywhere garbage, it sinks at every corner beaches are also dirty. the people here give a fuck about garbage. everywhere dog shit on the streets. i got two food poisonings in 5 weeks - because the people here give a shit about hygiene and what they give tourists to eat. not to mention that the tap water is polluted anyway... its lice acid for the body. these people are disgusting imo. i was in ubud, uluwatu, semenyak, canggu and gili. uluwatu was a bit better

@@JooseTheNomad i really dont want to hate this place. 2 of my friends say bali is one of the greatest places ever. one lives here and has a good business here. but i just cannot sugarcoat it. i am pretty glad that it is rain season right now. at least the streets get cleaned daily by the rain. yes bali/indonesia is a 3rd world country. what i just cannot comprehend is, how is it not possible to accomplish the most basic task of a society, like getting the garbage problem under control? it is not 1980 anymore... there i would understand it completely. but many of balinese people go around with an iphone 14 or even higher, but on the other side live in their own shit. imo opinion, if you are not able, or better said not willing to get rid of the trash problem (and i mean not putting it into the sea!), you deserve to be a 3rd world country.
