Today in the bus found 3 college girls talking about the relationship situation of one of them. It was so engaging that i couldn't just mind my own business and listen to them. That one girl had a guy who was putting lots and lots of effort into her. She was aware of that and yet confused. The other girl asks her why she doesn't accept him. After all, he is putting so much effort into you. She hesitated for quite a long time, saying, "I dont know why, maybe my love language isn't efforts.."and other random bs, but after a while, words just slipped from her mouth saying arey woh kaala hai aur uski height bhi sirf 5'5 hai. I don't want to comment on her looks, but her expectations were on the moon, i don't know who that guy is, but he should start working on improving himself.

1. Dating apps are designed to keep you single. 2. Some people really need to touch grass. 3. Don’t curate a fake online persona. It will be incompatible with your real life. 4. Limit your options. 5. Don’t date just because you’re not getting any attention. 6. Date only if you really want to, not because you want to be able to say that you’re in a relationship. 7. Be upfront, no need to play mind games. 8. Think of what you bring to the table. Meet the standards you set. Being in love = being courageous & vulnerable. So think before you give your emotions & time to someone.
@PureRythm7 ай бұрын
I think the 4th, 6th and 8th point's are what this generation really needs to understand. Girls (and even some guys) have so much attention coming form Social Media and Dating apps, that most of them always keep thinking that "I can always get someone better", and then go on and cheat quite frequently. Merge that with boys who think every girl that talks to them is interested in them (desperate af), and then wanna get physical in the relationship to brag about it later on. All of this because they have more options than they have choices...and thus, they get overwhelmed with all of it. And then ofc, who in there right mind dates when they want...we, as genZ's, date only for fun, right?🤦 The biggest problem of this generation is accountability and commitment...they fear them, and just want the fun part of it, without undertaking the responsibility aspect, which is where the problem starts. And last but not the least, the table thing. With all the attention and validation one gets from Online and Social Media platforms, one doesn't realize that there worth in the real world is near-to NOTHING...and that instead of improving on it, they spent all their time worrying about how many followers they got, or what's happening in Bollywood, and some random stuff like that. Girls think they are worth more than everyone (boys do too)...boys think they don't need anyone (girls as well)...which basically promotes individualism. What does individualism lead to...a failed society like America. Economically, that is the best place to be at...Culturally and Socially, the worst. "You get what you sow..." Sow what you want, and you'll definitely get it...✌️🥂

I have also noticed that people are not willing to have much honest conversation with each other even if someone makes a mistake our generation greatly underestimates how much a genuine conversation can fix things it's all superficial because having feelings and expressing them is a sign of weakness for some . # Opinion As a GenZ, I have noticed that many of us are hesitant to share our feelings with others. This is because, in today's world, if you confess your feelings to someone, they may take you for granted and start judging you. It's almost like they have won you over, and in any situation, you will stick to them and never leave them. This gives them the upper hand to control you and your feelings, and dominate the relationship, which ultimately turns into a puppet show. Only one person (the dominator) will make decisions about the future, and the other person just follows their instructions. Meanwhile, if the dominator finds someone better or more challenging, they may ghost you like you don't even matter to them. This is similar to what Deepika said on Koffee with Karan, "In my mind, I'm committed to him, but I was seeing other guys." Unfortunately, even after getting into a relationship, people are actively looking for other partners, mostly girls.

Honestly Speaking, I agree that meeting in person was way better and also very effective..the online dating is still tough for the average people. They are not still getting matched as each dating app is playing on the insecurities. I mean just by looking at pics people are drawing opinions which is not great. A meet or two would make it more understandable. The dating Term are just too many situationship , bread crumming etc. I guess people are doomed for sure

As a pretty above-average looking (I believe a decent 6/10), peculiarly well dressed, Indian male in my mid 20s, tier 1 city. This video is spot on with every analogy and analysis. It's a sad state of affairs for our generation, man. Don't even ask what toll it takes on a man's self esteem when bad experiences happen through dating apps, or you're not even able to score any match at all ! (and yes I am photogenic). On top of that ghosting is like a habit on women side due to the "entitlement" and abundance of options - issues you discussed and the natural loneliness that we were just given by fate being born in this time. What can I say man, no solutions just god bless us and everyone.
@ArjunVerma-wx7tf7 ай бұрын
Yup women do have alot of options as their social value is higher than that of a man as women can get somebody in an instant where we have to work hard again to get another women to like us. Man is expected to chase, impress, work hard to get a women whereas women just only judges a man cuz they know this gen has pedestalize them that another person is ready to hit on her as she can pick and choose which person is more favourable. I'm not being misogynistic here but that's the sad reality.

Dating and marriage in India is extremely risky for men with the kind of draconian laws we have. If you breakup with your gf after she cheated on you, she can still file a rape on false promise of marriage case on you. If you marry, fake 498a, dowry Harrasment, DV cases can be filed against you. Even if she cheats, she will still be entitled to alimony and maintenance. Hence, India is a risky place for men to have coitus. They are on the mercy of whims and fancies of women.

In my opinion, relationships have been commoditized to support the social media personality rather than the other way round. Gen z has been brought up under an overprotective umbrella with a lot of resources. Therefore, the adults of this generation have now come to expect the same comfort and instant gratification from every facet of their lives. Working hard, having patience and waiting for things to unfold in their own time is not something that the generation holds in high value.
