However, this short-sightedness could lead to the breakdown of the industry. The question arises: what if Bollywood does break down? What will it become if it recovers, or will it even be recoverable? It’s sad to see how the raw, authentic storytelling of the 1940s, 50s, and 60s has evolved into what we see today. I also believe the ban on Pakistani actors shouldn’t exist, as they played a significant role in Bollywood’s initial success.
