I've been underweight since I was 5 years old due to a health issue I had at the time. I'm 21 now still underweight and Ive been suffering the consequences from it my whole life. I also probably have an eating disorder from clinical depression and I have to go back to therapy bcs of it. What kalels saying is so dangerous to people struggling with EDs and also to herself. It's not healthy to undereat or to starve yourself it will litteraly kill you. There are so many health problems that come with being underweight.

And in some places an ear candle is cheaper or more practical than the doctor, so it's not a bad choice for the first line or options. But it depends, obviously, on the cause. If you have alot of ear wax and experience other issues it's not a bad shout.

If it’s eating 1800 calories a day instead of the recommended 2000, sure, but specify that so they know you don’t mean 1100 calories a day. Numbers matter when talking about those things, because while it’s much better to eat 1800 calories than eat 3000 calories, it’s also better to eat 2200 calories rather than 1000.

I absolutely understand. I'd always had mild asthma, where only over overexertion would bring it out. But in 2016 I got croup and since then it became quite serious. I get severe hayfever on the regular and pollen and dogs now set my asthma off. But I would never give up my dogs for the world. I have to rehome one of my dogs due to her being aggressive to my other dog. She’s attacked and harmed the other dog severely. We’ve done nonstop training, brought in dog behavioralists, tried medications, read a ridic amount of articles on it, sent her to several training camps, gone to training sessions with her, sometimes no matter how much you’ve done it just doesn’t work. We’ve easily spent close to 30,000$ to keep her along with hours upon hours of time...

I so much appreciate your videos and specifically, in this particular one, I really appreciated you addressing diets, undereating, overeating, etc. I am someone who struggles with severe anxiety, PTSD, and ADHD (which makes the other two sooo much fun.) I often have an issue with not eating enough because of my disorders. Whether it be anxiety or flashbacks or a mix of the two, my body often just doesn't give me the indication that I need to eat. So I have to actually force myself to eat or everything gets worse. When it gets really bad, I lose weight and in a way I do NOT want to lose weight. So for someone to push the idea that undereating, as a diet, is ok/healthy is just so irresponsible and potentially destructive. You pretty much said it so well. Homegirl needs to get some knowledge or a serious reality check or both. Also, can't wait for the second channel! I let all my tea-drinking friends know about your channel so hopefully 500k will get here soon =) Much love, Twiggy.

I used to follow Kalel and I likes her, I even admired her! Then some of the things she said started rubbing me the wrong way until I realized she was extremelly materialistic, self-centered and thought she was better than everyone else just for being vegan while hiding behind the mask of a minimalist kind person. Now seeing what she has become I'm shocked but not really? I just can't understand how could I like her? Why did I ever want to be like her? In 2016 I started to get a weakness in my neck which spread into my jaw and tongue muscle and basically made eating nearly impossible. It lasted four months, with me barely able to eat anything at all, bear in mind I'm kind of chunky anyway, but the weight fell off me... and I also ended up in hospital and nearly died because the minerals like potassium, sodium, etc, were so devoid and I was so dehydrated. So undereating is NOT healthy and it also causes damage in the long term: I'm now very overweight because my body's metabolism got so totally screwed up during that time. Now my body assumes every meal is my last one so the fat sticks to me. I've also got pretty nasty nerve damage so exercising is hard. Basically whilst both are unhealthy I will die on the hill that undereating can literally ruin your life in the most horrific of ways and do more damage than you first think.
