The Air Jordan 4 “Military Blue” is definitely going to be one of the biggest Air Jordan releases of the year. But do we care about the name of the shoe? Nike is actually calling it the “Industrial Blue” Air Jordan 4, a technicality that’s already annoying diehard collectors. I don't know if A.D.I.D.A.S. had more than one fencing shoe. But Welty mentioned a fencing shoe and said it never rereleased. But the fencing shoe I'm aware of is the A.D.I.D.A.S. Aloha Super. And it's currently in their catalog as a Mark Gonzalez skate shoe. It has released in multiple color ways, in the last few years. I wonder what shoe Welty is referring to?

Interesting Welty take. When I think of Sambas I go back to 07’ and think of the punk or alt rock guy who also the proto-hipster wearing AE. I get it’s a hooligan shoe but I saw quite a few kids who sort of fit the mold above wearing Sambas. A few soccer kids here and there as well. None I would classify as reckless. Just regular teenage shenanigans (partying, etc) and the rest were low-key

My first introduction that turned me into a sneaker head was in 3rd grade going to Footlocker and buying the Reebok Blacktop Pump. I remember even then my dad payed $118. in 2012 the Military Blue 4's sold out here in Chicago. Things may have been different for welty in boston or on the east coast. But they sold out everywhere out here. In fact everybody who missed out, as well as the people who beat/cooked their 2012 pairs has been waiting for these to rerelease

Like the Sambas but not for the comfort, the OG SL72's and newer SL72 RS on the other hand are way ahead in comfort and fit plus the colourways a lot more appealing, vibrant and attractive than any of the Sambas.

Why isn’t anyone talking about how the white leather on the Military 4’s isn’t really white? It’s a bit of an off white color, plus the toe box nubuck isn’t the same grey as the rest of the grey accents, it’s way too dark and in truth looks a bit out of place, and also the blue on the uppers is slightly lighter than the blue on the midsole.

I actually just bought a pair of panda dunks. First pair of that colorway, it's not too bad. I mean bought them to beat tf out of them with daily wear because they fit my feet really well. The 550 and Samba both fit my feet really poorly. I had like 3 pairs of the Aime Leon Dore 550's and they all had really bad heel slip issues for me and I had to sell them all off. The samba, I had tried years ago when I was basically only wearing Janoski's all the time, and the fit was not it. Those Red Taxi 12's go HARD AF. That's a pair I'll 1000% be going for
