I liked your video. A humble advice: If you show a table summarizing the pros and cons at the end of the video, this will be a good reminder and summary for the viewers.
@TheTechTank28 күн бұрын
A pretty interesting suggestion, actually. I wonder why most of the bigger channels I watch don't do something similar... Maybe in case viewers just skip to the end? Thanks, I'll look into it!

It's weird my friends say the mic sounds about as good as the old blackshark I had, it also seems to still be REALLY silent ( windows at best picks up 11% volume with me talking really loud)

it seems like 9.5.2024 came another version but i dont find videos about it, do you think it is still this good or even better?

Did you have any issues with a slight hissing sound when using the mic and not listening to any audio? I got my V2 Pro two days ago and it has that, not sure if thats normal😅
@tyryjnghn123Ай бұрын
make sure your side tone is turned off in the mic, even on the lowest setting it'll cause some noise to come through
@TheTechTankАй бұрын
The only issue similar to that was when I had two wireless dongles connected to my front panel causing them to interfere. Other than that no weird static - could be a sidetone issue as suggested.

I am using the Razer Blackshark v2 Hyperspeed, The audio out of the box is crappy.

Really? Interesting, I thought it and the V2 Pro had basically the same drivers, but the Pro sounds amazing to me. Better tuning perhaps.

I cannot decide which headphone is better Sony pulse Elite aur razor V2 Pro I want to use with my ps5 please can you suggest. And I see the hinge of the V2 Pro was broke in some videos . And love your videos bro
@TheTechTankАй бұрын
Thanks man! I can't really give a personal opinion on the Pulse Elite since I've never tried it, but based on the product specifications alone, the V2 Pro seems to have more to offer, especially in the mic and battery department (as well it should since it normally costs quite a bit more than the Pulse). I see reviewers claiming durability issues with both headsets which is a little concerning, but as long as you buy them with a warranty, I wouldn't be too worried. Hopefully someone else with more experience using Sony gear can jump in to help us out here!

I am currently waiting on razor to send me a new pair because the hinges on my old pair broke literally overnight. The hinges are extremely weak they broke months ago but I thought it was my fault until I looked on Reddit and luckily I waited to contact support because I think back when my hinges broke razor was still refusing to give people new pairs because they probably thought it wasn’t a problem with the build quality
@becoat8379Ай бұрын
But luckily I got an RMA and my headphones made it back to razor yesterday just waiting on the tracking number for the pair they are sending back but for the people who got refused help I would’ve been PISSED
@becoat8379Ай бұрын
Other than that though from what I remember I really liked the headphones and my only complaint was the super weak hinges

This sounds absolutely terrible on xbox. Tried different eqs, tried with dolby atmos and they still sound quite muffled. Not to mention the xbox app doesn't have close to the customisation the pc one does. Another annoying thing is whenever you boot them up, they'll be unmuted and you'll hear the mic monitoring white noise even if you had them muted.

Can you use the Razer BlackShark v2 pro 2023 wired?
@Murtaza.002 күн бұрын
Also can you use the headset without the mic attached or will it not work?
@TheTechTank2 күн бұрын
@@Murtaza.00 You can use it while plugged in, but it's only for charging - it won't work if you don't use the dongle or Bluetooth. The headset works without the mic attached, that's how I use it most of the time.
@Murtaza.002 күн бұрын
@@TheTechTank so you can use it wired with the charging cable But you are also still connected to the dongle or Bluetooth wirelessly? So it’s technically still connected wirelessly not wired? It’s just charging wired? Also if you have it connected wired via the charging cable is that better for latency or does it not matter since it’s still connected wirelessly through dongle or Bluetooth?

@TheTechTank6 күн бұрын
There's always an upgrade path, it's probably just not in the gaming headset space 😅
@prekaАй бұрын
Just fyi: On the blackshark V1, the headband wires are the same wires holding the cups on. The band wires extend through the bracket to the cups, and it's super durable. On the V2, this is not the case. The wires holding the cups are separate from the wires in the band, and the plastic bracket is the only thing holding them together. It absolutely *will* break.
@TheTechTankАй бұрын
Hmm, wish I could get my hands on a V1 and get the okay to open up this review unit to check. Appreciate your input!

lol dang this is the difficult part about buying a headset. Like every headset You can see like a bunch of good reviews at first but then there’s big issues and problems in the next set of reviews 😂. Hard to find a good one haha
@TheTechTank6 күн бұрын
That's pretty much the case for most audio products 😂 Headsets are especially hard to review since almost everything about them is very subjective.

I have these but I’ve had to use a $30 Turtle Beach headset instead because I get random audio issues. It’s a horrible crackling sound at random times. It will work fine and then randomly start acting up. It’s horrible. I have tried using it on my PC and my 2 sons gaming consoles which are a PS5 and Xbox X. Still horrible. I’m lost on what to do to make them work.
@TheTechTank16 күн бұрын
That's definitely not normal... Usually I'd say the issue you're describing sounds like interference, either by the USB port used, or some sort of wireless congestion, but if it happens across multiple devices and ports then I think there's a bigger issue at play.
@CamoDC4L16 күн бұрын
@ I found when I play solo I have no issues at all. It’s the moment I start playing with friends. I had to switch back to my beyerdynamic headset. Only reason I got the Razer Blacksharks was they were wireless.

I mean, I disagree, but that made me chuckle 😂
@kornbread435Ай бұрын
@@TheTechTank I really have to agree with Saieden. I bought this headset and both cheap plastic brackets holding the cups to the band broke in less than 3 months. Their software causes all sorts of connection issues with their keyboards and mice. I've bought 3 other headsets from them over the years and all broke within a year. Now for context I'm 36, and all of these products were used in a office setting without any travel. About as gentle of a life "gaming" hardware could have hoped to experience. The 2023 blackshark was my last straw, I'm done with their garbage quality.
@TheTechTankАй бұрын
Oof... If I had the same experience as you I don't think I would've given them that many chances to redeem themselves. I've been using Razer stuff for a long time too, and I can echo some issues you mentioned, but overall my experience with their gear hasn't been too dissimilar to other brands. Maybe I'm lucky 😅
