I can tell clash of clans is way more fun than it used to be. Builder base , clan capital weeks , clan war leagues , events , magic items They added good qol features in years

I think the events are fine. But the equipment for the heroes is nee to stop. It's too many back to back. But replacing old troop events that usually gave us training potions to give us way more ores and let us purchase what we want? Yeah that's way better than hero boost potions

nice explanation to point out both views on the event. hopefully supercell slows down a bit after a while coz we as players are getting burnt out from the constant wars for ores, the events and the hero/equipment grind. it was all fun with mash up madness but its getting a bit repetitive trying to keep up and maintaining a life outside of clash as well. thank you for the video i really enjoyed this one

I love the events , people say the limited ores are a problem and supercell gives us more free ores with the events, then people cry about the events and free ores. People are so annoying with their complaints over EVERYTHING ! The equipment is not needed , it’s a weak equipment so we can skip it and get the ores, this is a good thing !

I like the events. They give me just extra free ores + you don’t have to get the new equipment tho. You can just use all of the medals in ores you need for other equipment.

Yes, but the good part about the event is atleast th9-10 players get to use a super troop which I think is good enough as they still have a lot to grind to reach th12 to finally unlock super dragon.

i think there should only be 4 events per year. But to be fair they are rolling out the hero equipment with the events. Probably there will be an event around Easter for the Royale Champions equipment.

I do wish they would slow down on the events a bit but I like the super dragon spotlight. It encourages you to use a strategy most people otherwise wouldn't bother with since super troops aren't free, and it's been a lot faster to clear (for me at least)

no it's terrible, i had to replace 2 rocket riders and an electro dragon with 2 super dragons and they are so weak!!! they die very fast and can't really do much dmg

@@jc008titan It's not about the stats of the Super dragon it's about how you use them, making use of their splash damage type is an advantage to your strategy. Some troops may not be good or fit in certain strategy it's just players need to find opportunity for those troops to be of use and the troops will be the one who bring the results for you.

I can't get my self enough motivation to upgrade heroes, everytime i click the upgrade button. My hero is getting +3 damage and that makes me feel like "nah I'd rather just upgrade one of my spring"

Well Supercell has confirmed on reddit that they'll be adding more heroes to the game. And players would only be allowed to take 4 heroes into battle. Therefore, players would have the opportunity to use heroes in battle while upgrade other heroes

These events are a great way to speed up progression in home village when u buy books for event medals. You can max out even faster plus have fun while doing it.

I am a f2p player and i like those events. Like back than when we didn't have battle pass the game was different and a little bit less interesting, because i was bored just attacking for resources and then upgrading buildings oh and 1 more thing was clan wars. And now we have many events and you can participate in them for free we got many little things to do, and not only grinding for upgrades.

The new equipment is fun but the amount of ores rewarded and the limited amount you get is what most of my clan hates. I would much rather do an event for a skin or equipment than pay for it. The event will let you at least get one item if you grind it out for free

These events may be to much but they bring in money for supercell. This is something we all want as supercell has stated that if they can find more sources of revenue they can look into more quality of life features such as using hero’s while they are upgrading.

Since the equipments are expected to be available for purchase with gems they should just make them permanently purchasable with gems from shop just like how the builders are purchasable from the shop.

The seasonal gold pass and event gold pass should just be made into the same thing. Rather than making players buy two different passes, just make them the same. Players who've already purchased the season pass will instantly be granted access to the event pass when an event pops up. Those who decide to buy the gold pass during an event would unlock both the event pass and the season pass. This will incentivize more players to buy the gold pass during events, while also giving the gold pass more value. Yes Supercell would lose a little bit of money from doing this but it wouldn't hurt them that badly. And it would make the players much happier.

There's an argument to be made that supercell would make more money. If the player sees that they get more bang for their buck, then they will be more likely to spend money in the first place.

I recently started playing the game less and less , as it for me personally became too much effort to keep things rolling. Since i picked the game back up sometime last year, after 5+years of not touching it, I played entirely f2p. It was pretty fun and its doable, sure, but with hitting the higher ths, progressing felt more like a tideous duty than playing the fun build up game. You wont get far just playing everyvnow and then - with the events introducing even more stuff that you will miss out on if you dont play enough duribg that time, it honestly started feeling stressy - nothing I need from a game that was intended to bring some entertainment after work. Socback to coc hiatus until maybe in 5years lol

I personally love the monthly events. Even if you’re a F2P player you can still use the medals to purchase books to speed up your building time. The people complaining about “slow drip content” are finally getting content and people still complain. Can’t everyone happy but I personally like this change.

@@samuelault4723 as the epic equip costs 1500 gems from trader shop and 2 book of fighting costs 1850 gems. It's a much better deal to get the books. Also since I don't plan on switching from Eternal tome + Rage vile/ healing tome on my warden, this was actually a pretty easy decision.

As a player who never even spent a penny on this game, I can confidently say that these events and event passes don't ruin anything at all. I genuinely don't care. It's all completely alright. I'm almost a maxed TH14 and being a F2P is actually still fully enjoyable.

@@pokegeniusLv96 My heroes were leveled more of less high before the equipment was added, so i got lvl. 7 equipment on king and queen, lvl 9 on the warden and 10 on the champion. All the ores i got recently i spent on the new epic equipment, now i got lvl 12 gauntlet and lvl 9 frozen arrow

As a free to play player, I am not disappointed of the events rewards since it also helps us upgrade the hero equipment quicker and the quest are not that hard to complete and of course it requires lot of patience and I think we all understand that it is a principle of the game. PPL who buy in-game items with real money are mostly impatient ones and don't want to waste another time. The game is fun with or without buying items using real money it's just some players just wanted to go to the destination or maxed out bases faster without knowing the game itself.

Events are good to collect ores. The problem is supercell forcing people to spend money. Remove gold passes from events or sell those event coins. Don't forced to buy. Too much equipment. F2p players can't max that epic equipment. Have you seen how many starry & glowy ores needed. And you only get 10 starry ores if you win war. So until you spend yons of money you cant max it. Supercell being greedy at this point.

It's way more fun and the only thing I would want, would be that instead of capping out the stuff you can farm it should get exponentially more grindy to get because I'm always grinding anyways

these events are completely fine and I dont think the ores make the game pay2win, I am at TH14 and I have my GW eternal tome n life aura fully maxed, AQ- frozen arrow 18, healer puppet 17, RC- royal gem max and seeking shield 14; BK- Gauntlet lvl20 and rage gem lvl 17; and all of this I've done completely f2p, never spent a single penny on the game ! By the time I'll have my TH at level 15 ig I will be having fully maxed equipments!
