The PROBLEM with Tricking going mainstream

rn, tricking has a culture more promanent than any other sport i know of. Most trickers ive met have similar personality traits. And in a similar but bigger sport: gymnastics, theres no culture. And no-one gets excited about anything. When i see videos of gymnastic world firsts, people will just clap. tricking world firsts, People rush. I want that culture to stay, but obviously money would also be good.

This is a great point you're definitely right. The best part of tricking imo is the culture. Even nowadays, people don't react as much as they used to back in like 2013 and I think it's related to the community size. Having more trickers to meet is always awesome though and I'm always down for that so there are pros and cons of both sides.

Yeah definitely agree. The worst possible outcome of Tricking going mainstream is if Adr*naline 🤮 is how Tricking is portrayed to the public. Tricking is hype, love, friendships, growth and passion. Not bragging and trash talk

If tricking goes too mainstream we'll almost totaly loose the community bond, loose the essence of non-competitive philosophy it came out of, which is already happening, basicaly loose what tricking foundamentaly is for a society modeled and capitalism conditioned version of it. It happened to many outcast practices before.
