Coming from someone who has been able to gainer for like 2 years: DO METHOD 1 so you don't have to repeat my mistakes. I was able to cork before I could gainer because I refused to put in the effort to learn how to effectively use my swing leg, and only now years later am I finally fixing the terrible habits that came as a result of that decision. Gainer is nothing like backflip, and cork is nothing like full. You will be much better off if you follow that statement, believe me.

Please help solve the little mystery. I´ve seen a scene from a movie where a guy does a trick that looks a lot like a sideswipe but I´m not sure if it is. Maybe it´s just because he is so good at making it look like a lot of things, but I´ll say a sideswipe. You can find the movie-sequence by searching on KZbin for "Operation Scorpio Best scenes part 1" and from around 5:00 to 5:03 in the timeline the guy does the trick. It´s one of the subtler tricks I´ve seen.
