Primitive Skills

Жыл бұрын

Hello everyone, my name is Duong.
I am 32 years old.
I live in a poor mountainous area of Vietnam.
From a young age, I had to work hard to help my parents.
Difficult life is always around, I work and learn everything from my grandparents and the old people in the village.
Gradually, I mastered the skills.
5 years ago, I decided to live the challenge.
Determined to learn about the primitive way of life, I chose to live in the wilderness, alone.
Where there's no technology and forcing yourself to pass, it feels great!
How about you? Your life is definitely different from mine.
Have fun watching the video!

Another very good video filled with many interesting projects Duong. If the rooster does not stay out of your kitchen now, I think you should eat him! The trellis will be fabulous as the melons and squash climb and grow. I see you have some small caterpillars eating leaves in your garden. What do you think about moving one hen and her chicks into the garden each day to eat bugs? They may do some damage to your crops - but they will eat a lot of bugs and fertilize the garden. The next time you come across some worms, save them and move them to the bottom of your compost piles. That is a good place for a worm farm. Be safe 😊

If you let the chickens in the garden, they will eat all of the insects which destroy your garden. Just an idea. Chickens are good at eating all the bugs and they will clean the garden of anything that might destroy the vegetables! Just an idea. Great work as always! I bet your family is proud of you! You are making a great place for them to come in the future! They will appreciate all your hard work. Dont forget to visit them often! Take care!

You could probably make a watering dipper from bamboo, but if you could grow gourd squash and bottle gourd squash, you would have those to also make all kinds of containers for dried foods, seeds, water jugs and even bird houses. You could also grow loofa gourds. They are edible when the fruit is small, and they also make a wonderful scrubbing sponge when allowed to dry thoroughly then peeled to get to the inner useful part.

That roll-up bamboo blind you made would sell for over $100 in the US. There are people in the US that would pay to come stay for weeks to learn skills and rough it. You should set up an extreme roughing it vacation and get an agent and lure in some big bucks. You wouldn’t believe how Americans pay to rough it on vacation and learn survival skills.

I like the bamboo pipes. They looked more natural in the wild mountains. I have a hard time trying to understand why we are drawn to the natural beauty of nature, but soon we will cut down all the trees, level the hills and then erect concrete and steel. But we will complain that we don't like the cities that we live in, because there's to much concrete and steel.
