I would like to add a few pointers to this video, especially for foreigners getting married to another foreigner who are also not from that country. No wedding planner is needed if you want to get married at the RDG (the most convenient, fastest, cheapest way and the RGD are the organization that actually issue you your marriage certificate). First off, you don’t need documentation proving you’re single from your government unless you were divorced (just in case you’re wondering). If your documentation is in English, you only need a certified copy of your birth certificate (with your father’s name issued on birth certificate), your passport and of course 2 witness to your wedding (you need one witness to get the marriage license). You don’t need to apostille your documents to obtain your license or certificate (that worried us tremendously at the time) but if you’re from a non English speaking country, you must have your documentation translated and notarized/legalized. Let me do a complete run down of the process. Like she said, after 24 hours of being in the country, you are able to apply for your marriage license in the city of Kingston at the Ministry of Justice (if it’s before 10am or 11 am you can have it that same day but try an be as early as possible). You must pay for the stamp before you can get your marriage license approved, which is located at the tax stamp office building downtown Kingston but I think you can go to other offices if you’re not comfortable driving downtown (when we went for our stamp, we didn’t have information they required that residents have but they helped us out and I think that happens a lot, so be nice :) . If you’re not able to have your witness present when obtaining your marriage license, there might be other options (ask the staff). When filling out your marriage declination/license form, you will be required to state both your full names, your occupations, both your ages, your status (bachelor for man of single status and spinster for a women of single status, divorce, etc) and your address which would be where you decided to reside in Kingston during your stay, followed by the witness’s information. From my understanding, the only RGD near Kingston that you’re able to get married at is in Spanish Town but I could be wrong. I suggest you book your wedding ceremony at the RGD atleast 3-4 business days before and if your doing a quick 1 week marriage and planning on leaving the country with the certificate in your hand, contact the Spanish Town RGD via WhatsApp +1 (876) 579-5710. If you are just reading this now, go directly to the Spanish town RGD and tell them that you need the certificate before you leave and will have all your legal documentation ready early the day of the ceremony. If you’re both travelling from two separate countries, make sure you pay the extra 4500 JMD dollars for 2 express copies of the your marriage certificates. We got married Tuesday morning and were informed our certificates would be ready by Friday but was actually ready that Thursday evening. In total, the cost was 22,500 JMD or around 200 USD for the ceremony and the two express marriage certificates. Now, you are probably asking if you need to submit your marriage documents to your embassy. We went to both of our embassy’s and mine was very clear that I did not need to submit documentation and my now wife’s embassy was actually not sure but they firmly believed that the documentation needed to be translated, apostille and submitted to the civil office or the country she resides. Jamaica is one best countries of the world to get married without neither party having residency and most of the world accepts the marriage certificates issued from Jamaica. I am no expert and please take into consideration my experience may be different than yours. If you’re both getting married and are from a different countries, make sure all documentation is in English and notarized/legalized. If you’re planning on doing this in a week, I suggest you arrive on Saturday. Best of luck!

On the topic of was married before, what if the wife leaves the husband and signs for a divorce but the husband didn't sign anything and he wants to get married again would that cause a problem for him?
