As always, love your outlook. You definitely put what I have been feeling into words that actually make sense. It's all a healing journey. I hid for so long and just in the last month have decided to give therapy a try again. It's been extremely hard as all the wounds and trauma I buried are coming to the service again all at once. The fear of always feeling broken is always lingering. Sometimes when I am having good days, I think, "This is too good to be true, something is going to happen." That's the cycle I am in. :(

Wow!! That’s amazing, I’m so happy you decided to do that again! I seriously feel the EXACT same way. It’s a scary thought but I think being optimistic that it won’t be like that anymore can be extremely helpful as well. And even if it continues, acknowledging that what you’re working to overcome is not the exact same because you’ve grown and learnt from all these previous breakings. You got this and we all do too. It’s so difficult but on the other side of something difficult can be something beautiful, it just takes some hard work to turn it around 🫶🏻

I can definitely relate to feeling broken as it took me 10 years since realising I was gay to be able to 'come out'. That was 10 years of physically feeling wrong and ashamed for something I literally had no control over. Not to mention the anxiety of finally telling family. & there have been people call me disgusting, disappointing etc and you feel broken all over again. But I eventually came to love who I was and it's just other people who hurt you. If they don't like me that's there problem and more so highlights there own issues because I'm a fantastic beautiful human being. But what hurt the most was when my cousin took there own life at only 18 years old! Can I ever fully heal from that? I'm not sure. Suicide ends your pain but multiplies it out to everyone who loved you. So if you take anything from that, if your hurting just hang on, it does get better. don't pass the pain on to the people you love ❤

How do you make your video quality so good

Subtly the biggest compliment ever!! 🫶🏻 I use a fujifilm xt3 and then I focus on lighting my frame properly which is honestly everything! I use the aputure 65d light with a soft box and grid on it. Honestly it’s a super simple set up and then I do some colour grading in post that helps it all come together!

I can relate to that fear. Not in the relation of heartbreak… but I experience that feeling that I’m broken, fixing, healing, breaking, fixing, healing. I have all the tools, all the knowledge and yet we still feel this way. It’s so hard. Thanks for sharing Lucas 🤍 from a fellow okanagan girl
