Sheesh!! Bradley just don't miss!! Sooo much game and inspiration crammed into just 13 minutes!! I'll be rewatching this one multiple times. A priceless peek into the mind of an industry professional. Appreciate you bruh!

I love the eqing after the plug ins that add harmonics/compression. "Housekeeping" is something I need to work on and often forget about. Great info!

I like how that HG-2 just put each piece of the drums in it's own space. Another great vid.

@@RadiumRecordsHollywood yea, and I did the 4-500hz cut on each like you said, and wow something good just got better in feel and clarity..haha, thanks for that.

Another great video my man. Are you sending the drum bus to the Ocean Way plugin? Sounds killer!
@RadiumRecordsHollywood2 ай бұрын
Yep! Send 100%, then blend back in the parallel from large fader, just as you would bring up room mics!

I have more of a tech question/video suggestion perhaps. I'm using way less plugins and lately have been getting crazy "system overload" popups on logic, even in low latency mode. Any tips on keeping space free to avoid system overloads? Loving this series btw, using as a reference guide for some new jams
@RadiumRecordsHollywood2 ай бұрын
Are you monitoring whether it's your drive speed or CPU? You can monitor either or in Logic... I'd start there!
@BruuuceWayyyne2 ай бұрын
@@RadiumRecordsHollywood thanks! I might just have too much memory taken up on the hard drive and need to move things to an external. It's on the processing threads side, even with max amount of threads allowed (I'm running on an M1 chip) it gets overloaded. Don't mean to ramble, I love your work, thanks for responding!
@RadiumRecordsHollywood2 ай бұрын
@@BruuuceWayyyne The processing threads overloading has to do with your CPU... Not your hard drive. Have you tried increasing your buffer size? Also, are you running in rosetta mode or mac silicon native in Logic?
@BruuuceWayyyne2 ай бұрын
@@RadiumRecordsHollywood oh okay, dang. Max buffer size when mixing and have switched to Rosetta mode a few weeks ago when troubleshooting. Not trying to be a pain or take up your time, was hoping I was missing something simple, haha. I have way less tracks and way less plugins, but perhaps there is a CPU hungry plugin causing issues or something somewhere.
@RadiumRecordsHollywood2 ай бұрын
@@BruuuceWayyyne You don't want to be on rosetta mode unless you're using a plugin that is not compatible with mac silicon.
