THE PROCESS OF SALVATION | Understanding Justification, Sanctification & Glorification

If you've ever asked yourself questions like: Am I supposed to never sin again once I get saved? Or beforeI get saved, do you have to be perfect before God will accept me? Or Will I ever not deal with the struggle of sin? then you need to learn the PROCESS of salvation that a Christian walks through by understanding justification, sanctification, and glorification.
These may sound like some really big theological terms, but Ronnie and Mel will break them down easily so you can understand them for yourself.
In short, justification is what Jesus did on the cross that saves us from our sins and justifies us before God. Sanctification is the process we say "yes" to the rest of our life as we are conformed into the image of Christ everyday by the Bible and the Holy Spirit. And glorification is when we will finally be delivered from these bodies of sin and be resurrected with God forever. Romans 3-8 explains this process the best if you want to find it in the Scriptures.
So hopefully understanding this process helps you view God rightly, yourself, and others as we cheer each other on in the Christian journey.

Oh my goodness I wish my husband and I can meet your two you two are amazing teachers. This is so spot on I was the same way thinking I had to clean myself up before following the lord and I failed Everytime condemned for 8 years trying to do works...it wasn't until I saw my sin and everything changed and I placed my faith and what was done me. I've been set free and have mercy and forgiveness and love in my heart for the first time for myself and others . It was truley a Miracle.

(Romans 8:30, ESV) -Justification ; In theology, remission of sin and absolution from guilt and punishment; or an act of free grace by which God pardons the sinner and accepts him as righteous, on account of the atonement of Christ. a judicial term ; to declare righteous. God will not hold you guilty for sin bc of Jesus death… -Glorification ; 1. Exaltation to honor and dignity; elevation to glory; as the glorification of Christ after his resurrection. God is Holy= set apart from sin. Nothing sinful will ever enter His heaven, ie “we’re saved from the “presence of sin” -Sanctification; 1. The act of making holy. In an evangelical sense, the act of God's grace by which the affections of men are purified or alienated from sin and the world, and exalted to a supreme love to God. This is something that is growing as we walk the Christian life, a process in the believer,so “were being save of sins power” in our life as we grow. Read Romans 6 as well. 2Thessalonians 2. 1Peter1. Thank you soo much for making this video!! So good how you explained the definitions and it is so important to know these - I love it🤗🤗 What I learnt in this video is that we are sanctified through walking with Christ and the Holy Spirit and not our own works or effort. When I first came to Christ I put so much pressure on myself to have to do all Christian things 'right' immediately, but it is so exhausting and heavy to do that (and not at all how it is to be) and made me want to give up on God. So taking that pressure off and coming to live in true sanctification by walking with Christ and with His Holy Spirit makes this journey with God so much lighter and more enjoyable (still hard though!). Makes me think of Matthew 11:29 when Jesus invites us to take His yoke and walk with Him and learn from Him❤️❤️❤️ God bless you two❤️

I’m a process all right. I am a believer, but far from perfect. I was baptized a Catholic and that’s what my entire family is. I’m a beginner at the Bible and have been reading my Bible every night. I started from the beginning and am at Ruth. I’ve watched your video on how to approach the Bible and I figure I’ll just start from the beginning and read to the end, although I do like to read scripture like the ones you read today. I really like listening to you guys, but I listen to many Pastors to get a better understanding of Christianity. Like most things and like apples, there are many kinds. I listen to Joel Olsteen, John Hagee, and Jentezen Franklin, and a couple of others. Everyone seems to have a different style, for lack of a better word. Why is that? Some are downright scary and after listening to them, I just know I’m not worthy of going to heaven, there is just no way. I mean me compared to John Hagee...why would I go to the same heaven he would go. I’m nowhere “good enough”. Why are some Pastors very hopeful and inspirational while others...are more fire and brimstone? Is that an okay question to ask. I don’t mean to offend anyone.

Hi Amber! We are so glad to have you here with us! And great question! So to preface this answer, I also want to note: people’s different eschatological (end time) views shouldnt divide us as they are secondary issues! And if we can all agree on the main & plain things of Scripture, and the dirty of Christ, then we are family and can love one another even if we interpret things a little differently! So to answer your question, we are not dispensationalists, meaning we do not think that Scripture talks of a rapture that is separate from the resurrection at the Second Coming of Christ. We were but after further study don’t see it. Like it says here: “For we say this to you by a word from the Lord: We who are still alive at the Lord’s coming will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the archangel’s voice, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are still alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.” 1 Thessalonians‬ ‭4:15-17‬ and Matthew 24 is a good place to look as well. So to us glorification is yes the rapture but the rapture that coincides with the resurrection at the Second Coming when we all are raised to be with Him forever. (And we only believe there is one Second Coming) Obviously there are other views on this, but that is what we see in Scripture 😊 hope that helps answer your question a little! Bless you sis!
