When I was in school, in Canada we have a day called "Terry Fox Day", and it is to honour a young boy some years ago who was diagnosed with Cancer, had his leg amputated, but saw the other children who were struggling with Cancer and couldn't afford treatment. So once he got used to his prosthetic leg, he started in Newfoundland and Labrador, and went to run across the entire country to get money to donate to cancer. At around Thunder Bay, Ontario, after collecting a lot of money, he ended up taking an indefinite break, as something was wrong. His cancer returned, and he couldn't finish the run. On Terry Fox Day, schools and other people around the nation now do a small run to raise more money for Cancer research, and in schools, they normally play a documentary for it. This song will always remind me of it. Schools normally do the run later, as the day of the normal run is in August, but it still has helped cancer research a lot.

Fun fact about this song, its duration, and the ISS: the orbital speed is perfect to where if an astronaut on board played the original Proclaimers version of this (or this, if the tempo's exactly the same- whether it is matters) then across the entire song, the ISS would almost exactly be 1000 miles in its orbit!
