Rave + tiny bit Punk + tiny bit of Rock + some HipHop + much (Trance) Techno >> all of that with sometimes a bit of Reggae? ... Seems "totally insane" (or impossible) yet The Prodigy did it! ... What some people don’t know is that Keith was a truly nice, gentle and polite human being. His stage persona was unique because he channeled his aggression and passion and let all out on stage. He is one of the true greats ... RIP Keith Flint

I remember listening to Charlie and thinking "wtf is this?". Can't say i exactly liked the tune but it did entice me to try and find out about the band and buying listening to the Experience album. I was basically obsessed since then and they were in fact the ones that got me into wanting to do EDM production, knowing about gear, etc. I introduced the prodigy to a few friends and even introduced songs by the prodigy that they didn't know were from the prodigy "No good start the dance" for example.

It's cool how a group who used 90% pre-programmed music was still a better, more intense live act than most rock bands you'd see at the same festivals and this hippy guy with brightly colored hair was considered just as scary as Marilyn Manson.

Me too bro August 1993. Luckily I’d saw them at the Rezerection luminaire 4 months earlier with N’Joi & it was absolutely stunning. They walked off because it was an awful sound system & had to be kept at a low decibel from 12am to 6am & having toured around with them the monitors they had didn’t have any sound so the guys couldn’t hear anything. ✌️👍✌️🕊️🤯

It was located in a hanger in ingilston aka Edinburgh airport .. we couldn't believe they said the bass was to loud FFS airplanes flying daily in and out day in day out . Cant be officialdom.. I guess . That jobs worth I guess is retired on a pension whilst the heroes are now multi millionaires and a band that pioneered a sound that many have taken on as an inspiration ..
