The Producer’s Room interviews Tony Brown, a four-time Grammy award winning, four-time ACM award winning record producer and pianist known for his production work with Country music legends including Reba McEntire, Vince Gill, and George Strait. Tony has toured with Elvis Presley and Emmylou Harris, was the President of MCA Nashville in the 1990’s, and has producer over 100 #1 singles. In 2008 he was awarded the AMA Lifetime Achievement Award for Producer/Engineer.

I worked with Tony back in 1980 - he produced my solo album "Right Through The Heart" for RCA Records - and we worked with the people he´s mentioned. David Briggs was an amazing keyboard player (mainly Fender Rhodes) and a really fun, nice guy! This was before Tony´s breakthrough into the big time...we both learned a lot and it was a fun experience! IAN CUSSICK
