Tony,These are some really great stories, I would sit and listen to them all day. I sure am impressed that of all the superstars of country music you've worked with, that you hold Elvis above them all. I can only imagine how thrilled you were to be a part of such a legend. Congratulations on a great career and continued success.

Tony Brown is also a goog piano player. The way he played How Great Thou Art at Elvis last show, was the best I ever heard.😂❤❤❤

It’s just my opinion, but, when I hear “Way Down” from the Jungle Room Sessions or , “ I Really Don’t Want To Know (which in reality was a snippet from band introductions- June 21, ‘77) , those two songs in particular for me are the embodiment of what Tony Brown brought to the the table- on “Want To Know”, there is no mistaking that it is a country ballad, yet he’s playing these big, fat, yet understated, tasteful Gospel chords and fills; so very soulful- amalgamation of Black church music and country. It seems Tony Brown knee intuitively where “the pocket” was - especially on songs like those. The stuff he played on Way Down had a hauntingly raucous , fun ring to them. Of all Elvis’ pianists in the later years, I love his chops the most.
