You should try dermaplaning if you haven’t already! I just got a dermaplaning facial before this quarantine business & I swear my face was instantly brightened. I feel like you never realize how dull/darkened (not the best word, but I can’t think of another) your skin looks overall because of the “old skin.” ALSO my makeup has been FLAWLESS every time I’ve applied it since!

Only get a light grade/superficial chemical peel. Medium and deep peels can actually cause more hyperpigmentation in POC. Mandelic Acid , lactic, and salicylic peels are good. Ugh 😩 green on brown skin and brown eyes is everything! I might have to retry macao in NARS. I thought it was too light but we are close in Complexion and it looked good on you!

Don’t do a chemical peel. It can go sideways real quick for us chocolate girls. All you need is niacinamide, a gentle vit c, retinol, a gentle exfoliant, Sunscreen EVERYDAY and a whole lot of patience cuz that’s a 2-3month process.
