Very interesting video Pat! Enjoyed it- i gave up 'trying ' to like vdgg. If I don't like something straight away- then over a few weeks I play it at least 3 times. After the 2nd play, I gave up on vdggg. To me it's unlistenable! I don't believe in making yourself like something. I just don't get vdgg! At all! Enjoyed the video- nice T Dream album.

I love all music genres from blues to black metal and of course that includes prog rock. If I'm honest, I only started getting involved with prog rock during the Corona period, but I can't imagine life without this music anymore.

Hi Pat. Another interesting video. My answer to 15 is King Crimson. I don’t have anything by them in my collection. Just getting into a band called IQ these past weeks. I’ll put Crimson, VDGG and Eloy next.

Hey Pat! Thanks so much for doing this and the kind words. I was on with Scot last Sunday with Scott from Myth of Logic but have to hear his album! I’ll need to change that. Spectrum is fantastic. I’ve wanted to get into It Bites for so long but their stuff is near impossible to get here in the states. Good luck with VDGG this year.. H to He is good, but I think you’ll have more luck with Pawn Hearts and GodBluff. They are not for everyone! Thanks again and brilliant responses!

Loved this too Pat A band I would like to get into and who have been around as long as father time is Hawkwind .I seem to remember they had a dancer on board Stacey or perhaps Stacia(?) who was from R.O.I. You mentioned Tommy Bolin.... another guy who left this world too soon Check the track " post toastee" from the Teaser album....mind blowing. We had a Horslips tribute band from Omagh, in Tyrone for awhile... They were so good that Barry Devlin played on stage with them.

Hey Pat! Love Tommy Bolin, so I love Spectrum 4! Steve Howe is still amazing, actually bumped into him in a hotel about 5 years ago. May be the most reluctant rock star on the planet. That is a very cool picture disc!

Nice post, Pat. And some interesting choices. Re: VDGG When I first heard the epic 'A Plague Of Lighthouse Keepers', I hated it. But I quickly grew to love it. For anyone wishing for a 'gentle' introduction to VDGG, try the beautiful song 'Refugees'. Instrumental album ? Gotta be Camel's 'Music Inspired By The Snowgoose'. My controversial statement ? I don't much like King Crimson or Gentle Giant. Best cover ? Joe Cocker's fantastic rendition of Beatles' 'With A Little Help From My Friends'
