(switching to gold in autoreloaders is very punishing, i know, but it's also the characteristics of the shells) And it's still very very popular tank, judging by statistics. It's about forcing us (the players) to move to another line, which is more gold dependent. Spending resources on advancing in the line, firing more gold, etc ... to keep the rat race going. Rushing up the tree to get Progetto 65 atm is not making them enough RL money, but a shift to another favorite, will, especially if that favorite is more gold dependent.

The fact that they include a Frontline copy paste tank (Amx M4 mle 51 FL) in the review sample and rebalance it differently than the tech tree tank (Amx M4 mle 51) is enough proof for the fact that this balance team is either completely new or rather incompetent. In both cases they are so disconnected from the game that it is quite worrying.

This nerf is for other reasons than balance or gameplay. I consider it as unwanted amount of appearance in the battles. Low usage of premium consumables or other similar economic metrics. They push remaining fans of this tank out to the different machines. Thats the main goal in my view.

Progetto was my favourite and most played tank, I have more than 3k games in it. It was already underpowered, with tragic DPM (but still fun). Not waiting for another nerf, I've unistalled the game today. There are so many OP tanks, and they nerf Progetto - which was nerfed not a long time ago.

This is clearly a punishment from WG to all those players who didn't spend their money on the Lion: 'You don't want to spend money on Lion?, No problems, we are going to make sure you learn your lesson by giving you a turd of a tank that will be absolutely unplayable, with no armor to get a lucky bounce and a gun that will not hit anything no matter how much you invest in bond equipment'. The low DPM always put a hard limit on how much a skilled player could influence battles, and the autoreloader plus the relatively low alpha and HP meant that bad players didn't do well either. So the Prog 65 was literally underpowered from the very beginning, worse than the 140, worse than even the M48A5.

I only just got Progetto 65. I am very, very sad since I enjoy the Standard B so much. I suspect whales were complaining too much about being outplayed by more clever players in Progetto. A while ago I outplayed an average player in Progetto 65 with my Lansen C so it is definitely not OP.

Nowdays, why would you play progetto when you can play the Lion. the tank is literally better in every way. It was sad that the last time they nerfed progetto they nerfed DPM and accuracy. Atleast let the tank keep its accuracy so its trash DPM still can be usable. Nothing is more frustrating in progetto than holding a shot for 3 seconds and when you finally shoot, the shell flies to himmelsdorf instead.

When they made a teaser which hinted changes (vehicle rebalances among other things) around new year, they put bc25 in the video. However, in the latest changelog in the test server batchat25 isnt mentioned. It means they decided not to buff batchat25, but rather nerf the direct competition (progeto65). Now both of them will have garbage gun handling...

Even when playing with the 4th shell, the reload is some 9s!! Takes patience to play with one shell until.. the 10 second rape comes :D And then it's amazingly long time to reload the 4 shells again.. So yeah.. good when applied and the commander is skilled.

It is nerfed to make people grind for another tier 10 tank. Its all about the money. Wg wont nerf chieftains because it makes people fire more gold and thus sells premium time. Good tanks are only nerfed after most people have grinded them. When the intrest on getting up the techtree falls off they are nerfed to make you throw more money in to the game to make grinding the new tank line easyer.

I disagree on autoreloaders (italians+ ambt) being bad for beginners. Yes they take some gameplay on them to learn for everyone (new and old players) but as tank with both single shooting and clip potential, I find them the easiest to play in my first year of WOT. Single shoot opponents where its possible to do so safely often from the back with relatively decent accuracy and at the same time always have clip potential to finish opponents off at the end of the game and fix your damage numbers. At least personally tanks with bigger clips are much much more difficult to play for me as I need to get aggressive with them in order to have any decent damage games. and they don't have the same snipping capabilities from my experience. Single shooters that don't have Very good turret armor are also quite hard to play
