Alex this is an awesome projector . I could see schools using this in class rooms and university. its like a really big phone or tablet but shown on the wall . the touch feature is the best thing about it and quite quick and fast. now the price tag is slightly high for it £700 but its worth it.

I have been using the Lenovo tab 3 Pro for 4 years now and love it. Using Apps for the golf or boxing the project it to the ceiling whilst lying in bed lol. Because my ceilings are 9' high it projects to about 55" and Cristal clear. I recently downloaded an app that changes the layout and love it. Done a full clean on it recently because it was getting a bit slow so now it's like new again. Well worth the money and you can pick up 2nd hand ones for wallies now!! Wish they would bring out a newer 1 with a slight better operating android set up tho because it does seem a little dated now. But still works great...

My one won’t hold a charge, so unable to turn it on fully. Only able to see the dog load up and that’s it :( can’t find any support. Tried using various different chargers and still won’t work.

If that impresses you, you should see the projectors Epson has come out with. My wife is a teacher and they use Epson projectors in her class room. It projects onto the white board and she can use it as a regular projector. But she can also use it as a touch screen computer and a digital whiteboard. No more markers. She can write something on the whiteboard using the remote which is pen shaped, push a button and change colors or turn it into a highlighter. A student can come up and write using their finger as the pen and if she wants she can print out the image. Kid has a question she can push a button and now she has a giant, touch screen computer projected onto the wall so she can google the answer. When I was a kid we had overhead projectors with transparancy sheets. The most amazing thing for us was watching the teacher spit on it to erase their mistakes. Now they have these high tech projectors, every student has an assigned Chromebook, wifi connectivity and all this in an elementary school.

Can't think of many day to day uses that would justify a purchase. Other than it being a projector too but you could get anlot more for £750 in that market. What resolutions does it display natively?

For consumers probably not. But compared to a touch project form ctouch or smarttech (for example school boards) it is a fraction of the price.

All similar projects have been discontinued, which says a lot, someone doesn’t want us to start literally interacting with the digital world yet🤔. I remember getting interested in this technology when Pranav Mistry did his own project.

If the touch screen is available for a 100-150 display (on a wall) , I'm sold. Laptop size touch screen on a table has no use case for me. Might as well use a surface pro.

Looks like a knock off xperia touch, though I do like the addition of a remote for when being used for wall projection. Pity rest of the tech doesnt seem to of improved with the times, 1080p would be nice and its hafd to judge from recordings but the speakers appear to be a bit worse. Still an interesting device though. Just want some one to combine it with the wireless hdmi base station like the Sony LSPX-P1. Make give the base station a few more HDMI inputs and act as a docking station to charge the projector, and you can just pick up and use where ever needed about the house, with the android function to fall back on for tablet use or for when away from home.
