The Prologue - The Land of the Dawn Lit Mountains

Two fiercely independent, & newly unemployed blokes set out on a road trip, 15,200 ft. above sea level, where the Wi-Fi is weak, and the connection is strong!
This video presentation is a eulogy; a travel journal that was long due, a chronological montage of a 16-day north-east Indian road trip featuring the late Unni K'chan a.k.a Vinay (the uncle), & Djokes a.k.a Karthik (the nephew), traversing the states of Arunachal Pradesh (Bhalukpong - Dirang - Tawang - Zemithang - Lungla - Bomdila), scrapping through the riots striken city of Shillong in Meghalaya (having being mauled by a violent mob, sustaining minor injuries - owing to the border conflicts that broke out between Meghalaya & Assam: www.thehindu.c..., unexpectedly re-routing back to Assam (Royal Manas National Park), and North of Bengal (Darjeeling).
An adventurous roller coster of a ride, mimicking life! Gratefully, happy memories, only.. :)
I wish to extend my gratitude to - Dorjee & Rinchin (from the Namthung homestay in Dirang), Mr. Sangey Wangchu (from Hotel Jhaktsang in Tawang), the police force in Shillong, Meghalaya for escorting us safely back to Jorabat (sharing borders with both states Meghalaya & Assam), Bubulji & his family (from Adoroni Guest House in Manas National Park) and Dawa & his family (from Blue Dragon homestay in Darjeeling) for the homely hospitality and facilitation of cultural exchange via dialogue, yummy local cuisine, cherishable stories and anecdotes!
