Cory you deleted my comment about your spoof video. I briefly read your response, and I’ll address a couple things for you- we don’t need to know false teachers to call them out. Take Bethel for instance, who you are associated with. I’ll assume you don’t know this, but they teach New Age religion. They teach the law of attraction. They teach that vibrations and colours have healing frequencies. They teach that reading auras, power objects, spells, seances, etc all belong to the church and are things we should practice. If you don’t believe me, read Bethel’s ‘The Physics of Heaven’ book where they openly promote quantum mysticism (their words). As far as mocking God- yes you were. He is a thrice holy God, the alpha and the omega. He’s not your buddy and pal, he’s my Heavenly Father. Here’s the rub for you though- with all your statements, you don’t have a Bible verse to back you up. You can’t joke about God and use his name in vain (take his name to nothing) and call it a joke and think there was no damage done. Look at the division your loose words have caused. Bethel thinks God is a joke. They think he’s not serious, and that he laughs at your jokes. There are countless other problems with their theology that show one big red flag… and that is they (along with you) have constructed your own false idea of who God is apart from the scriptures. That’s an idol. Your statement about not calling out false teachers? Not inline with scripture. Your statement about God not being serious about using his name? Not supported by scripture. This isn’t meant to slam you or make you feel dumb, but to rebuke you (2Tim 3:16) and see you come to a healthier understanding of God and his word. Doctrine matters, and I say this respectfully, yours is reckless my man.

Let me counter you right now sir.. sure there is teachers teaching false doctrine to people and it’s awful that there spreading false beliefs about God I don’t believe that God can’t laugh at a joke you make, even Jesus laughed, joked, got angry, but we don’t do this with contempt in our hearts. Don’t joke against God but have a true relationship with God, that’s not new age religion That’s living how we are supposed to

Very, very well stated. It's a true shame because he has a God-given talent. But, "worship" music isn't for us, it is for our Holy Lord. It's not about us, it is for Him. So yes. "Worship" singers and writers must be held to the same biblical standards of a pastor. Doctrine does matter.
