Deans box was also based on Stewart James trick I can pronounce the name of his trick ( something like sefejalia)

I thought Sefalaljia was a spirit box, and not really related to the ropes knotting etc. Jack Avis developed the Paul Curry trick a bit further in New Pentagram.

The Sefalagia Box was made by the obnoxious guy in Idaho, USA. He made great props but was a real ass He sold Paul Fox cups too
