Where is the nearest landfill and do they charge by the sqyd or ton? How much is the homeowners insurance compared to the national average? What is the average number of people that visit the valley in the summer?

The Chaffee County Landfill is located off of Highway 285 approximately eleven miles north of Salida and 14 miles south of the Town of Buena Vista. They change by the ton. Here is a link to their fee page: www.chaffeecounty.org/Landfill-Fees Our homeowners insurance in Colorado is expensive compared to the national average. Chaffee County is average compared to the state. I don’t have a number on the summer visitors but I do know that Recreational tourism accounts for some 70 percent of our local economy.
