He sold the house, then rented another location for his law-firm, so he never intended to leave Germany for good. It was closed, because of his arrest, thank you so much for pointing this out.

I think the court is overwhelmed, as if they are waiting for something, they just can't make a decision. Why is that? And what will happen if they convict him? You are right in implying that the case is a serious one. It is because for this - because of the astounding injustice, the highly political nature of the case and the blatant attack on free speech and press freedom, even in the courtroom - that Kerstin and I, although independently of one another, travel to Göttingen as often as we can to attend the hearings. That the situation is grave, we acknowledge by our being there in an attempt to inform as many people as possible about the proceedings, so that they can pass it on. It is my personal belief that humour, love, creativity and the unrelenting search for truth are the choice weapons that will help us get through this dark period in our history. Given the absurdity of the court proceedings, all we can do is laugh. If we protest or get loud, we risk being thrown out of court. The whole thing is a circus. An absurdist play. A pantomime, in which we don't get to hear what information is passed to and fro the judges and the lawyers. And so we laugh at it all. We laugh at the court calling for a break every five minutes. We laugh at the hurry by the court to shut Fuellmich, the few witnesses called by the defence, and his lawyers up. To ridicule is far more effective (and psychologically sustainable) than to cry or shout. But us driving many hours to and fro Göttingen (it takes me almost a full work day to get there), is out of our outrage at the case. I hope that clarifies things.

@@d.lepair9599 I understand, thanks for the explanation. I just don't find a corrupt court, while an innocent man is in jail funny at all. This is the collapse of society happening in real time. Not sure how well versed in history you are, but things really...dark after this. Have you personally ever been in solitary confinement as long as Reiner? I have not, but I can imagine how not funny it must be..

In my opinion she is a malignant narcissist. And Roger Bittel, from Bittel Tv, who has done many shows with Reiner, and who is in touch with the legal team, he says that Viviane is a liar, and that she has been the main antagonist in the whole affair.
