The Protectors - 'Sons & Daughters'

From The Protectors' Save Australia Day concert in the Pilliga State Forest NSW Australia Sunday 26th January 2014. An impromptu musical liaison and event to support and inspire the local communities fighting to save this amazing area from becoming an invasive gasfield. The band is led here by Paul Robert Burton, with the wonderful talents of Davey Bob Ramsey and Luke Vassella. Footage includes scenes from the Northern Rivers, Gunnedah and Pilliga Forest. Camera/edit: David Lowe. Celtic intro from PRB's traditional collection. The song is a variation of 'Sons & Daughters' by Cyril Neville and there is a very special appearance from the ghost of the late great Charlie Chaplin...

Ohh nice! Than you are probably the one who I can ask if it happens to be that The Protectors got their name from the 99 aussie kids show Thunder Stone. One party there were the protectors. Really cool, nostalgic Mad Max-esque kids show..
