You really can’t blame Activision for not being able to detect this. Cronus Zen is a controller mod, which alters the controller signals to do certain actions automatically, enhancing performance. Since this method doesn’t change anything on the console itself, it’s basically impossible to detect without getting false positives.

Actually can detect it. Just detect for scripts running stuff that reacts faster than human speed. That's what call of shame is doing right now n has made good progress with it. If a small group like that can manage these big companies could easily of done it by now. They don't want to lose a majority of their big streamers if it detected all the stuff they use. N streamers are what push the gaming population into microtransaction purchases. They don't want it being detected they'd all lose cash in the hundreds of millions.

I almost didn't play anything else. Thankfully I didn't fall for the gambling aspect of it and didn't put money into the game, but the compulsive grinding was fucking real. I received the latest COD as a gift for Christmas and thank God immediately exchanged it for another game. Since I left FIFA my gaming horizon has expanded widely.

I remember seeing some weird killcam footage like that auto recoil disable cheat. A lot of other players noticed and encouraged each other to report it, so we did. While detecting this may be difficult, at least players can help to remove these cheats.

I love seeing that dualsense edge in the video. Picked mine up about a month ago. Yeah 4 paddles would be great but I’ve used the back button attachment for ps4 so I’m used to only 2 paddles or half domes both are nice. Easily my permanent go to controller for gaming too easy to maintain it if stick drift occurs. 20 dollars and replace an analog stick. A scuff has stick drift it’s probably 160 to repair it plus you don’t get to use it till it’s mailed back. Oof I can just order it and have it in a few days

I used the regular ps5 dualsense for months, then when the Edge became available at mu local best buy, i traded in towards it. Not to mention the regular dualsenses hardware only lasts 420 hours or so, but the Edge is good for 15 years on average.

It takes a while to detect, also need to shoot at people, not just at nothing. Not even kernel level anti-cheats will instantly kick or ban you from any game. Literally all you did here was promote the device and then did the most basic level analysis.

In 2002, there was a game called Socom. I was a top 10 player and loved the game so much. In January 2003, a divice called "Codebreakers" was released for PS2, and it allowed people to cheat on socom. Ruined the game completely. I seen it in every online game since. The human race is garbage.

using this device is not cheating.. its crippling their ability to perform better in games... you wouldnt understand unless you had one yourself. its only useful for 2 things.. fixing deadzones that are just straight up bad and also if you dont have a ps3 controller anymore and you want the ps4 controller to be fully functional on the ps3.. other than that dont even waste your money.. as far as the deadzone issue goes they actually make controllers now that do that without having to go in and mess with it on a pc to program this aggravation of a device. i laughed when nadia though she discovered fire with that recoil script... i said welcome to the bottom of the scoreboard nadia.. what she uses is straight up cheating though which is wall hacks and a locked map radar in hardcore mode.. thats out of my league if i try to explain it..

The reason they're so hesitant to roll out the Cronus Zen anti-cheat properly is that at the end of the day they do not want to hurt their top or leading COD streamers and tournament players that advertise the game heavily. Call of Duty Warzone would ultimately look less appealing to gamers if every single "Pro Player" got permabanned all at the same time as crazy as that sounds. Plus the announcement of the anti-cheat PR covers Activision Blizzards dishonest behinds reassuring players that bans will come even if they don't deliver on it. It also benefits and covers the a**es of those cheating COD streamers and tournament players they can now turn around and use the BS excuse of "They banned the Cronus Zen and you STILL think I'm cheating? Get a life loser!" Worse case scenario heaven forbid if Activision Blizzard really can't stop Cronus Zen updates then we the average gamer would be the LAST people to know or figure it out because if that were the case, that would be a straight up game killer and player retention would fall through the floor. I am afraid you will have to actually test it in actual encounters. damaging players. because if you look at all tech demos of ricochet they all involve a reaction when there is an encounter. they also showed not to simply ban cheaters. but make their bullets not do damage, make other players invisible for them... all kinds of tricks.

If only authorized devices can connect to the console this wouldn't be a problem in any game, both 1st and 3rd party. Hardware producers could get their devices authorized by Sony. Cheating isn't a problem for FPS only, for sports games too, in fact, any competitive game would benefit from a more robust anti-cheating system, and this can only be achieved by a tight collaboration between Sony, hardware makers, and the game developers. It's really a no-brainer, a win-win for everybody

Instead they use devices like this to cheat on a game and abuse it because there not good enough to play the game without the devices. This device sold in millions I'm actualy mad that either Sony or Microsoft do not block it permanently . They can stop steering wheels not working but can't stop Cronus? That is bs . A bit of effort and it's done . Meanwhile the problem is growing .
