Lil Glass O’ Water the older gen consoles did. Anything that allowed you to have a save card like the ps2 was a “back door” for cheating. These newer gen consoles are harder to cheat with but it is very much possible. Crossplay with PC is such a bullshit move since you can cheat on PC and play with console players. Game companies need to have a better anti-cheat system in order to have things like this obsolete.

It's a macro, it's not going to magically make them a god tier player and the only real practical use for it is anti recoil but then you at least have to know enough to properly tune it (the community simply not large enough to have specific anti recoil macros for anything but the most popular gun) and if you're worried about keyboard and mouse I highly doubt anybody is buying is this for that considering its subpar compared to the XIMs

@@Conquered I'm a former senior games designer and former senior producer from the games industry - I can tell you that we had access to scientific white paper studies (as long ago as 1998) that conclusively/overwhelmingly proved that k/m allowed for far more accurate target acquirement and re-aquirement. A k/m is (simply put)is a far more accurate device when it comes to first person shooters. It affords players major advantages. This is not up for debate as it is not subjective, but rather an objective proven reality. Activision and Infinity Ward are well aware of this. Aim assist has been increased this year precisely because cross-play has been introduced - being mandatory on Ground War. This is Infinity Wards attempt to level the playing field a little, as much as they can. It is an attempt to bridge one gap that pertains to the differences and the limitations of controller use. But Activision and Infinity Ward know that it is not enough, which is why they also allow players to disable cross play in 6 v 6 and 10 v 10 matches. The point here is that it takes out the vast majority of k/m players. They also indicate on screen which players still use k/m and for those players (via auto recognition) aim assist is removed. IF someone is using this device, they bypass that recognition which means nobody knows they are up against a k/m players, they also retain the aim assist which is otherwise disabled - that is clearly cheating! And that is before we come to other scripts they can run on the device. IF someone combines k/m with aim assist and the jitter mod for a semi auto like the FAL, they do not need burst fire, but get burst fire - so they have a more accurate version of k/m with aim assist, with other players uninformed of this, with burst mode that they have not unlocked and they get to then use a different attachment - in effect giving them 6 attachments on the FAL. Unlike burst mode, they also won't get the delay between bursts - making it a god tier weapon. If they can also run a script for recoil, they can also spend attachments on damage and rounds etc... Anyone that doesn't think this is cheating in the dictionary sense of the word doesn't understand what cheating is: or they are delusional or in denial.

Cronus max, I get Vietnam flashbacks from that in The Division 1 some players used it in the Darkzone mainly there were some on console and PC but i had no idea which one had more cheaters than the other, I was on PS4 and I saw one player using an LVOA-C (high end assault rifle) that was literally spitting more bullets than an MG42 (basically jittering), and dropping people left and right, devs thankfully caught wind of it and banned them but they thought they wouldn't do so. Right now I'm seeing way less of them out there.

Omar Mejia Lvoa or any gun didn't have any jitter mods for rpm increase that no where near accurate. That was a broken update aka the rpm glitch. I played division for a long time the only scripts I ran into on console was with a shotgun. Never had a effective jitter that increased your rpm. That came with the saved load out update you could stack unlimited amount of weapon mods on one weapon giving you a unlimited magazine and crazy rpm that was just bad game developing. But yeh shotgun pop shot scrips were the thing and it was possible to break the showstopper rpm but again that was bad developing. They patched out all of the above.

The consoles CAN detect the device. Its the same way it knows if you are using a 3rd party, supported/unsupported device. The USB control chip in ALL USB devices have an ID code. Device are mainly identified using a pair of hexadecimal numbers, like 04b3:3108 The 4 first hexadecimal digits are the Vendor ID (04b3 = IBM) The 4 last hexadecimal digits are the Device ID (3108 = ThinkPad 800dpi Optical Travel Mouse) The fact that you plug the Cronus into a computer to modify its settings and its identified by its setup software, means that both the Vendor ID and Device ID are registered. These vendor and device IDs can be looked up online by software to ensure new devices released are still identifiable even to hardware/software that was released before the device was registered. While I understand that the Cronus CAN have legitimate uses I do feel that the presence of the device should be included in reports of suspected cheating. It would just be another Boolean variable included in the "Report a player" package sent to the game publisher. It could ALSO be used to enable stricter anti-cheat code. Cronus detected = True, then enable ShotsPerSecond check and RecoilControl check. This way if the player really is THAT GOOD at controlling their recoil, or spamming the fire button, if they dont have a Cronus connected they arent falsely punished for just being better. Yes it could create situations when players with disabilities who can also control their recoil THAT well might get flagged it would at least help identify most of the cheaters with only a small number of false alerts. I mean, its really not that hard to properly implement Hardware MitM (man in the middle) detection. It simply comes down to the fact that game publishers dont care. implementing systems like i described would take time and programming talent, it could also introduce bug that need to be fixed that could delay development or release date etc etc and all the publisher sees in that is lost money

I don't no too much about that but I no they didn't have anti recoil from what I have seen It was to bypass Bluetooth on the controllers turn it off through the device forcing a wired connection there would be a few more devices in one place not enough frequencys of Bluetooth available. Much like a concert or a festival if you have ever tried to make a phone call sometimes the channels get jammed with a lot of phones in a small area you might of noticed phone company sometimes put up a temporary mast to help counter that.

Games nowadays are becoming more lenient when it comes to rapid input and macro tools. Steam has a built-in controller configuration tool that works with almost any kind of controller and lets you create macros with it, although it can be a little tedious. AutoHotkey is a program that lets you create scripts. Its main purpose is for creating macros and it is much more powerful than the device shown in this video. Most anti-cheats seem to be ok with the program, and the ones that don't like it seem to just keep you from running the games with it rather than ban you.
