People complaining about the price. If you take the base ps5 and upgrade your storage to match the pros 2TB you're already spending over 600 just that in itself. So all the extra stuff is about $100 upgrades. Put that into perspective it makes a lot of sense.

@rafdor5131 yes. If you walk into a store right now buy a 450 ps5 and a 120 to 150 dollar 1TB SSD that's like $615-$630 after your tax. And the OG ps5 was 400, and at that time around launch my 1TB ssD was 250 bucks so that's 650. I didn't see people throwing a fit then lol

@time2shinex707 so what about in 2020/2021 when the ps5 DIGITAL was new and at that time a 1TB SSD was 250 bucks people paid about the same my guy. And you have an option for a drive. It's not like the OG ps5 where it's one or the other. I have multiple ps5s and I pre-ordered the pro I don't complain that I have options lol

Build a gaming PC for 700 with 2TB and obviously no disc drive and see how well it runs games. That is throwing money down a pit. Tje 4070 TI that this is compared to cost more than the pro just for that GPU. I spent 1200 on my gaming PC and it still sucks ass. The price has to fit the market. If you compare it to everything else apples to apples you're already in that $700 to $1000 range.

Sure you can add extra storage but that still comes at a price. Use your old disc drive from your old PS5? Why would you even try to do this? If you're talking about the PS5 Slim optical drive then yes you can use that and PlayStation already stated this.

They haven’t even showed the most appealing feature which is upscaling PS4 games. Ironically the $999 30th anniversary bundle was worth the price for everything included BUT Sony had to be dumb and only make 12k when they would have sold out 123k

I’ve had it my ps5 pro in my cart at psdirect since pre-launch. I really wanted the anniversary edition. Since I have my disc ps5 and my ps4 pro still, I’m really considering waiting till the the ps6. And yeah better for me to wait for switch 2, better use of disposable income for sure. 😎 👌

So a few ways to view it. It is not everyone who thinks $700 is alot of money. My VR headset cost that much. Another thing is i didnt buy a ps5 launch console and waited for the ps5 pro. Now is it really alot of money if i saved up a few years to buy it? Learnt from ps4 pro that it ran cooler, quieter,faster and i know the launch titles never take full advantage of the consoles power and there arent that many games at launch so why be an early adopter? I think my stratagy won, i can pick up alot more 2nd hand games aswell for cheaper since i waited and also if you really poor the ps5 standard still excist.
