I think the grossest part about his behavior is that he’s fully aware. I haven’t finished the video yet, I’m about 1/2 way thru, so apologies if I’m missing something. But I noticed towards the start there’s a clip of him taking about a relapse and says he did it bc his main channel with 70k subscribers was banned or something. He didn’t just use bc he was so upset or frustrated with it, he says it clear as day, he used bc he gets that adrenaline rush from livestreams and since he couldn’t get on his channel he went to drugs. I’ve got 15 years sober and no living friends from back then. They all died from overdoses or damage done by their addiction like heart failure and liver failure. I don’t think I knew any addicts that would know the why to that level. Obviously if things don’t go your way, you want to use, you can’t handle the stress of a situation or your life in general so you use. The way he explained it told me that he’s aware of his behavior and will modify his behavior based on what he wants. He’s very manipulative. The screaming he has autism is just a way for him to manipulate bystanders so they’ll feel sorry for him and not hold him accountable for his behavior. It’s very very disturbing how far he’s gone with it. He knows why he does it, he knows the feeling he is looking for, and he knows there are other ways to get it. Go for a run and get your adrenaline up, join a gym and learn boxing or something. There are healthy ways he could get that adrenaline he is looking for but he’s too deep in active addiction and a mental health crisis to do that. He needs in patient detox and rehab ASAP. Just had to pause and write this bc your comment stuck out to me so much. Off to finish the video now!

@ville__I never understood the concept of cyber bullying. To me it seems like a failure on the parents part as they shouldn't allow children unrestricted internet access... And as for people posting things to humiliate others, I don't really see the difference between showing pictures manually or shit talk behind peoples back and posting it. I'm not defending bullies. I'm just wondering whether the concept of fighting cyberbullying is more treating symptoms than the actual root of the problem. Which usually starts in the bullies homes

The blatant invasion of women's only areas in Japan was disgusting. Those places exist because of the sexual assault that a woman can experience in public places. A man, even well intentioned, (which Spidey was not) has no right to be in such a place. And him equating it to Saudi Arabia (obviously assuming it's some sort of separation of genders for religious or other reasons) is stupid. It's for women and women only so that they feel safe, and Spidey goes out of his way to make sure that doesn't happen.

@@detective2221 Blaming the parents for all of it is uneducated. How someone turns out is a combination of nature and nurture. Even without the slightest knowledge of this, it is obvious that his sister, who was raised by the same parents, turned out very differently. Your reasoning basically means that every sibling of a criminal is also a criminal. It's a dangerous position to hold. Aside from that, every parent makes mistakes, and it looks like his mom was trying to be a positive influence on him. You're actively saying this does not matter while her actions in the past DID matter, basically implying people cannot redeem themselves. What a terrible attitude to hold towards people. I feel you should not be talking about empathy at all, if this is your take on life.

I get panic attacks trying to call for a doctor's appointment and find it so difficult sharing art with anyone outside my friend group. Having either or both in a society built for neurotypicals is horribly difficult. You get fatigued quickly, your self esteem is in the dirt and you have moment when you just want to curl up and just sleep life away, plus so many other issues. But you CANNOT excuse vile unapologetic behavior on being neurodivergent. This bloke is just completely unhinged and there is no excuse for shitty behavior without the desire to reflect and change said behavior. He needs serious help and to be banned for life from the internet.

I'm autistic and German (don't have ADHD) and I can't comprehend either how anyone would do the shit he does and excuses it with being neurodivergent. When I caused chaos like this, I was in elementary school and I didn't know any better. I was just a little brat craving for attention. Now, as a "functioning" adult, I'm desperately trying to be as respectful and honest as I can because I don't want to trouble anyone. It's already embarrassing enough to have a meltdown in public and being helpless and vulnerable while everyone keeps staring at me like I'm a weirdo. I think I would die of sheer embarrassment and anxiety if I did anything like autistic "influencers" like Spidey, Daniel Larson, WoT and others do.

I hate, I repeat, hate when people use the umbrella term of autism as a "pass" for ill behavior. My twenty-three-year-old son is nonverbal "full-blown" Autistic. I have never nor will ever allow any bad behaviors! Many parents use their childs diagnosis of autism to simply stop parenting and begin maintaining. Not all! But unfortunately, many parents do. I know my son is nonverbal, deaf, and autistic. Just because he has nothing to say doesn't mean hes not thinking or he doesn't know. Whenever inappropriate behaviors manifested, I would correct them immediately by seeking professional help, reading books, reading autism blogs, going to autism support groups, making friends with other parents with children with autism. I hate when people attach this type of behavior to Autism. NOT ALL autistic people are like this unhinged young man, who clearly needs professional help. Thank you.

People with autism could either have it effect nigh everything in their life or just a small bit of thier life. But as with nigh everything with correct parenting and training a human being can become a generally good person shown in your documentation. I have had only bad experiences with autism so I am trying to be as partial as I can so please tell me if I seem leaned toward a view. And to caifan I only wish good things to your son and I thank you for your wonderful parenting as a lot of parents in our world don’t treat it as important as they should. @NatetheNintendofan Nate, I am not bullying, I am defending people with Autism. English is not my first language, so maybe I didn't make myself clear. I still struggle with that. People with autism are not bad. My son is not "bad" he had "bad" behaviors because he didn't know any better. But with consistent proper redirecting, he was able to learn and now he knows better. My job as his parent is to always teach him. I don't want society to attach "bad" to autism. I truly believe people with autism are some of the purest souls we have. But then again I am biased. I hope I was able to bring some clarity. Stay safe out there.

A month and a half in a psych hospital for this level of illness (particularly years of this level of illness) being life changing is a misconception; we're talking *months* in a residential facility, *months* to upwards of a year in monitored group housing, outpatient therapy, etc. The specifics of the timeline vary from patient to patient, but undoing these sorts of habits and mental thought processes is longer term, difficult work. Being released home after just a month and some change and then leaving the rest up to the patient and their family is why there's a perception of rehab and jail (jail is also an entirely different conversation) stints not working; they're usually too short and the assistance and monitoring provided after the fact is too minimal.

@@detective2221 first off i never said anything about you making a false statement and Parenting is a tough job, and even the most well-intentioned parents can't control their children's choices entirely. People are complex, and there are many factors that influence the path they take in life. All in all just because his mom raised him had absolutely NOTHING to do with his drug addiction and overall spiral so although your statement isnt entirely false, you did not take all events into proper account and instead blamed it all on his mother. Theres only so much a parent can do, everything depends on the kids and what they end up doing. Im saying this from my pov on the situation that DOES involve his mother, she tried what she can to best raise him, but its all his downfall in the end of the day.
@detective2221

@@kokoiniko5675 Uhh, sir, his mom raising him DID have something to do with his drug addiction. If his mom was actually a good parent, he wouldn't have had a drug addiction in the first place. The argument that "there's only so much a parent can do" is false, as you can lead your child the right way, so they don't go the WRONG way.

That's something that does really bug me about militaries, the US military is like that too. Even if it's mild, you get blocked. If you're in, do well, prove your worth and show value and end up diagnosed, you're kicked out anyway apparently. It's total BS and honestly, it shouldn't be an end all be all. It's not much different than any other learning disability, like dyslexia or adhd. If you can still get into the military with them, you should be able to get in with autism, especially since it's such a wide spectrum of symptoms where there could be absolutely no impact on accommodations if the military does that. There's nothing visually different that would change how they are able to function, perform their job, or interact with their coworkers

It’s like it turned off his inhibitions entirely, which got worse when he was on something. It’s something that can be helped with therapy/meds but if you don’t try it spirals badly downhill.

I am also on that spectrum of autism, while im not sure if it's simply autism, but it could also be a side effect of adhd. I was born with both autism(formerly aspurger's syndrome) and adhd and i know that i have poor impulse control likely contributing from both disorders. If my medication is not in my system, i struggle to not act on the subconscious ideas that pop into my head. I also binge eat when im not on my medication and that is not good. It's why i don't drink, smoke, or do drugs. I know that if I start, i won't stop, and will probably consume enough to cause a overdose. The only times i drink is when im with other people, who can help me moderate my alcohol consumption.

You do realize nearly everything is learned right? Personality, memories, morals, how you interpret information, etc. Additionally, this is a guy with both Autism and ADHD, that's clearly suffering. While he doesn't have a clear intellectual disability, living with those conditions is hell on Earth (coming from someone with Aspergers, it's alot more then just what you see on the surface. Suffering from sensory issues isn't fun, and that's a shared experience with pretty much everyone on the spectrum). Additionally, pushed into doing terrible shit by one of the things giving him self worth, his online audience. It's clear he's revolved a bit of his self worth around creating content. Try and walk a mile in his shoes, and attempt to understand how he became that person. You don't need to like or respect him, just try and understand (this goes for everyone reading this).

Being nerodivergent is no excuse for harassing strangers, going into women's only areas, treating his mother and sister like trash when they were trying to help him, treating the doctors and nurses like garbage and more. It's sickining and could lead to many people thinking that all nerodivergent people act the same way (which is far from the truth) Sometimes there are sadly people who just don't want to change, and I think Spidey perfectly shows that
