This is just amasing teaching. I am 58 old christian - iv read the bible for 33 years. Incredible. Im gonna teach this to others and i feel this really renewed my soul. We christians also learn/teach works, not for salvation, but works as a result of salvation. But we practice works bad - because of bad teaching of the bible. Thanks again.

Foundation Stone directors and guests have visited Harran several times. It is a huge tel, and the outlines of the city are clear. It is special to connect to this place, at the apex of the Fertile Crescent, at the crossroads of east-west- and north-south travel in the ancient world, and the capital of the world basically, several times in history, and the site of cataclysmic events, the rise and fall of empires. We also were at a well from the time of the Patriarchs and Matriarchs at the outskirts of the city....

Hi Everyone I I want to share with you what I learned from these story which is puzzle me for many years. Previous pasha finish with information about birth of Rifka. And in these week Study the strange conversation between Avraham and his trusted servant. They talk about only for one woman,particular woman by not mentioning her name . Otherwise the seventh will look for another woman who is willing to come in the promised land. Back in in the house of Avraham’s relatives there is no other young woman woman except Rivka . After the servant had drunk water and all camels finished drinking the question he asked wasn’t about her name but the name of her father. It seems he is asking for her legacy to check that she’s exactly the woman who he is looking for.The servant is exactly representing Avraham and that’s why I think he’s not mention by name. Later the servant mentioning Rivka’s name and he is making everything to get her from her family. She is exact match with Avraham’s character. Willing willing to leave her home land and to go to the land where her future husband is living as Avraham left his father’s house , she is kind to strangers and willing to help as Avraham. So The servant is not a gambler, he is trusting HaAshem to laid his way to the woman chosen by Avraham . That’s what Tora teaches me to see for now , next year will be something else ( hope so) because every year is different . personally, I think he was asking g-d to help him do the right thing. He was saying, 'help me out here lord', because I need help. That is my understanding of the situation. ty for the video! p.s. & he really didn't know if his prayer was answered until she told him who her father was & then he knew for sure. Plus, she could have refused to go w/him, but she did not.

PRDS- consider the following: Beresheet 24:48-60 Read the passage. This is the Exodus from Mitzraim. Rivkah in hebrew means fettering or fetter, shakles, bondage... she is in bondage under the house of Laban. Laban is also a place in the desert... Bethuel means desolation from word bathah in other words Destroyed by Yah...Mitsraim, a place in the desert that was destroyed. Rivkah represents Yisrael who Eliezer “Yahs Helper” comes and rescues her. See how Rivkah represents Yisrael Gen 24:53 And the servant brought out ornaments of silver, and ornaments of gold, and garments, and gave them to Riḇqah. He also gave costly gifts to her brother and to her mother. Gen 24:54 And he and the men who were with him ate and drank and spent the night. When they arose in the morning he said, “Let me go to my master.” Gen 24:55 But her brother and her mother said, “Let the young woman stay with us a few days, at least ten, then you go. In Shemot the mitsrites give the same objects that was given to Rivkah Exo 12:33 And the Mitsrites were strong on the people, to hasten to send them away out of the land. For they said, “We are all dying!” Exo 12:34 And the people took their dough before it was leavened, having their kneading bowls bound up in their garments on their shoulders. There was also 10 plagues upon Mitsraim before Yisrael was let go, and Bethuel and Laban represent mitsraim who wanted to to keep Rivkah (Yisrael) for 10 days..
