All relevant points. Its a discipline that is not learned overnight-a ton of self-discovery & perseverance required that most people will never do. Also, developing a risk appetite you are comfortable with can take time, circling back to my original point, for example. Keep it up!

You can be comfortable at rock bottom for a long time. If you feel like a failure, you may not want to do anything that may not work, in case you feel like more of a failure. I think having self worth and wanting better is paramount, regardless of circumstance. I am glad whatever your doing is working for you and I am all for any methods that work for each particular person.

Nice to see you make a profit but man that’s a lot of work for negligible return. Opportunity cost seems huge in other areas of life - music, travel, starting a business that offers a net plus to society.

100% agree with what you are saying. I do think the trading has high upside. Just need to put in the time. It's always a tough trade, especially when you have other things going on and want to leave a legacy behind.

Nah you got it flipped on its head. Losses teach you the most, and give you the most momentum to springboard into higher highs.

since you are profitable, why dont you have a bigger account?

Right now it's spread out over multiple accounts. I will probably make some adjustments overtime but not very much.

Hi, Verrillo, I'm wondering do you have a transmit confirmation problem in TWS? For me even I check the transmit immediately box in Hotkeys setup, I still have a transmit confirmation window jumped out when I place orders, which make scalpe impossible. I hope you know how to fix it. Thank you!
@VerrilloTrading2 ай бұрын
Yes in general this can be resolved. It depends on how you are placing the order to begin with. Normally if you use Quote Monitor or Chart Trader to submit the order, it does not create an additional order placement box. What are you using to create the order? Note that I do offer a remote assistance service and you can learn more about this on my site. Link in description.

@@ScienceMasterHK Careful with that because the danger here is doing something different than what you were doing when you were growing the account. Seen this so many times. Stakes aren't the same (mentally) as they were when you were running it up slowly on the side. It's all about how you perceive it.

Great progress man, always strive to improve 👍 BTW I do have 5 steaks in the fridge to cook 😅 but I still try to improve my systems because the puzzle of finding the holy grail is the best game in the world ;)

Thank you. I don’t think there is a holy Grail.

@@VerrilloTrading yeah joking, but the search and backtesting is fun. If there was a holy grail it would be a diversified portfolio not a single system.

@@Taipan303 For me it would be simply staying in the game long enough to get that one or two trades that pay big and make up for all the waiting and grinding.
