Well this is the difference between me and you, this is insanely detail oriented (not a bad thing). I used to be this way, but ultimately I've gone in favor of minimalism in mixing. Yet i still use a lot of similar techniques. you've really come a long way as an engineer (you've always been a kick ass producer though).

@@john_mclucas yeah I never use a strip plugin. Also it’s more than just long vocal chains. You were getting into automating the dynamic eq on fabfilter. It’s what you do with the plugins.
