If you take a midi patterns and load them into logic and remap the drum sounds you will be just fine.

At the end of the day, music IS still numbers and math. What you’re describing is still music theory. You just prefer one sound over another. It’s not that using a sus chord makes it theoretically incorrect. 🙄

150 Bucks for a gig? 50 Bucks for each show in merch? Where do you live? Hell? Absolutely noone except complete noobs gig for under 500 Bucks a night, but it is more realistic that you'll earn 1500 plus. But yes, you are right, that it won't get you rich to tour.

Not really....10 bucks as "per day" for 30 days is not enough to make a living. Getting a buck per shirt sold is not enough... Giving lessons on the side while on tour can be a hassle...you wanna be able to make out of your band/music...not lessons and such.

Does anyone know what type of bass was used for this song? I think it might be a hollow body bass

Is the $150 per man per gig? That's not very good.

The problem is you want the perfect drums and your not even tweaking the plug, Drum Monkey is not perfect but also is not what you say for 30+m thats moronic, i don't think it should be 300dl thts also moronic no more than 100 should be the price tag

It's Ariana Grande's “Magnum Opus”. It's my #1 favorite song of Ariana's full discography. I don't know how she is going to do something more wonderful and meaningful to her fans. Then there is also «ghostin» but it's instead a sad, gloomy heart-breaking song, it's the opposite. GET WELL SOON is so beautiful, a bliss, an eargasm, so hopeful and it's like Ariana is getting inside your head and hugs you. 🫂

You can use the patterns and change every single instrument/sample. It is all about the creativity. Also 33 minutes to express your disappointment .. you’re probably taking it personally ! Also I didn’t get the irony about Michael Jackson and Quincy jones. Anyway, I agree that 300 $ is expensive.

To begin with, you are playing the wrong venues. The notion of playing low paying gigs helps nobody and may undermine the performing arts. That stated, please note that my thinking is to deliver a pro concert at venues which support the arts. My experience is listening rooms, bars and music halls are often a disservice to the arts. My experience is that touring can be beneficial both financially as well as touching the emotions of audiences. Pro tip… get good, get on the phone, control costs and understand that artists serve something higher than self and pay to play gigs

Playing like Billy Cobham or Bill Bruford is hard. Programming beats using a step sequencer or tapping beats onto a keyboard or pads, then perhaps editing the parts to create more complex grooves, is pretty easy. How companies like this have mystified this process and made it appear like something you'd need a special overpriced tool for is incredibly disingenous and frankly disgusting in the way it exploits inexperienced beginners.

Sure. It'll suck. Matter of fact, it does suck. You can give up, return home, pay your mortgage, your rent, your car note... Or you can sacrifice. Weiners like this give up because they haven't done the work internally to handle the harsh reality that does come with chasing dreams. Fuck what anyone says. If you believe in you, chase your dreams. In the people's faces will always be the meat and potatoes. Period.
