Counterpoint, Donald CAN feel hatred and anger, otherwise his offensive magic wouldn't be as strong as it is, he just doesn't actually care about his friends, that's all (it also explains the Terranorth scene). Also, it was CoM when Donald healed Sora, he was losing his memories, so he might actually have become this way at some point in his life, theories theories theories. In all honesty, he just doesn't heal you guys, but he does heal me whenever I need him (which is a lot of the time), so maybe you just need to thank him for healing you from time to time, imagine a red mage learning "heal" just to keep you safe, that's Donald XD
