So essentially the government and investor partner up so that they both can gain leverage utilizing a FDIC insured bank loan. The very same FDIC that insures almost every bank in America and can only cover about 10% of all the investments they claim to secure? Sounds like a mighty big hook to me. I'm glad I bank with a credit union.
